Torah Reading Tsav "Command" Leviticus 6:8-8:36

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Command Aaron and his sons thus: This is the ritual of the burnt offering: The burnt offering itself shall remain where it is burned upon the altar all night until morning, while the fire on the altar is kept going on it. The priest shall dress in linen raiment, with linen breeches next to his body; and he shall take up the ashes to which the fire has reduced the burnt offering on the altar and place them beside the altar. He shall then take off his vestments and put on other vestments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. The fire on the altar shall be kept burning, not to go out: every morning the priest shall feed wood to it, lay out the burnt offering on it, and turn into smoke the fat parts of the offerings of well-being. A perpetual fire shall be kept burning on the altar, not to go out. And this is the ritual of the meal offering: Aaron's sons shall present it before the Lord, in front of the altar. A handful of the choice flour and oil of the meal offering shall be taken from it, with all the frankincense that is on the meal offering, and this token portion shall be turned into smoke on the altar as a pleasing odor to the Lord. What is left of it shall be eaten by Aaron and his sons; it shall be eaten as unleavened cakes, in the sacred precinct; they shall eat it in the enclosure of the Tent of Meeting. It shall not be baked with leaven; I have given it as their portion from My offerings by fire; it is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering. Only the males among Aaron's descendants may eat of it, as their due for all time throughout the ages from the Lord's offerings by fire. Anything that touches these shall become holy. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Take Aaron along with his sons, and the vestments, the anointing oil, the bull of sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread; and assemble the whole community at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And when the community was assembled at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, Moses said to the community, "This is what the Lord has commanded to be done." This is the ritual of the sacrifice of well-being that one may offer to the Lord: If he offers it for thanksgiving, he shall offer together with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes with oil mixed in, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and cakes of choice flour with oil mixed in, well soaked. This offering, with cakes of leavened bread added, he shall offer along with his thanksgiving sacrifice of well-being. Out of this he shall offer one of each kind as a gift to the Lord; it shall go to the priest who dashes the blood of the offering of well-being. And the flesh of his thanksgiving sacrifice of well-being shall be eaten on the day that it is offered; none of it shall be set aside until morning. If, however, the sacrifice he offers is a votive or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, and what is left of it shall be eaten on the morrow. What is then left of the flesh of the sacrifice shall be consumed in fire on the third day. If any of the flesh of his sacrifice of well-being is eaten on the third day, it shall not be acceptable; it shall not count for him who offered it. It is an offensive thing, and the person who eats of it shall bear his guilt.Flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be consumed in fire. As for other flesh, only he who is clean may eat such flesh. But the person who, in a state of uncleanness, eats flesh from the Lord's sacrifices of well-being, that person shall be cut off from his kin. When a person touches anything unclean, be it human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean creature, and eats flesh from the Lord's sacrifices of well-being, that person shall be cut off from his kin.
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: This is the offering that Aaron and his sons shall offer to the Lord on the occasion of his anointment: a tenth of an ephah of choice flour as a regular meal offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening, shall be prepared with oil on a griddle. You shall bring it well soaked, and offer it as a meal offering of baked slices, of pleasing odor to the Lord. And so shall the priest, anointed from among his sons to succeed him, prepare it; it is the Lord's--a law for all time--to be turned entirely into smoke. So, too, every meal offering of a priest shall be a whole offering: it shall not be eaten.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to Aaron and his sons thus: This is the ritual of the sin offering: the sin offering shall be slaughtered before the Lord, at the spot where the burnt offering is slaughtered: it is most holy. The priest who offers it as a sin offering shall eat of it; it shall be eaten in the sacred precinct, in the enclosure of the Tent of Meeting. Anything that touches its flesh shall become holy; and if any of its blood is spattered upon a garment, you shall wash the bespattered part in the sacred precinct. An earthen vessel in which it was boiled shall be broken; if it was boiled in a copper vessel, [the vessel] shall be scoured and rinsed with water. Only the males in the priestly line may eat of it: it is most holy. But no sin offering may be eaten from which any blood is brought into the Tent of Meeting for expiation in the sanctuary; any such shall be consumed in fire. This is the ritual of the guilt offering: it is most holy. The guilt offering shall be slaughtered at the spot where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and the blood shall be dashed on all sides of the altar. All its fat shall be offered: the broad tail; the fat that covers the entrails; the two kidneys and the fat that is on them at the loins; and the protuberance on the liver, which shall be removed with the kidneys. The priest shall turn them into smoke on the altar as an offering by fire to the Lord; it is a guilt offering. Only the males in the priestly line may eat of it; it shall be eaten in the sacred precinct: it is most holy. The guilt offering is like the sin offering. The same rule applies to both: it shall belong to the priest who makes expiation thereby. So, too, the priest who offers a man's burnt offering shall keep the skin of the burnt offering that he offered. Further, any meal offering that is baked in an oven, and any that is prepared in a pan or on a griddle, shall belong to the priest who offers it. But every other meal offering, with oil mixed in or dry, shall go to the sons of Aaron all alike. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelite people thus: You shall eat no fat of ox or sheep or goat. Fat from animals that died or were torn by beasts may be put to any use, but you must not eat it. If anyone eats the fat of animals from which offerings by fire may be made to the Lord, the person who eats it shall be cut off from his kin. And you must not consume any blood, either of bird or of animal, in any of your settlements. Anyone who eats blood shall be cut off from his kin. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelite people thus: The offering to the Lord from a sacrifice of well-being must be presented by him who offers his sacrifice of well-being to the Lord: his own hands shall present the Lord's offerings by fire. He shall present the fat with the breast, the breast to be elevated as an elevation offering before the Lord; the priest shall turn the fat into smoke on the altar, and the breast shall go to Aaron and his sons. And the right thigh from your sacrifices of well-being you shall present to the priest as a gift; he from among Aaron's sons who offers the blood and the fat of the offering of well-being shall get the right thigh as his portion. For I have taken the breast of elevation offering and the thigh of gift offering from the Israelites, from their sacrifices of well-being, and given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their due from the Israelites for all time. Those shall be the perquisites of Aaron and the perquisites of his sons from the Lord's offerings by fire, once they have been inducted to serve the Lord as priests; these the Lord commanded to be given them, once they had been anointed, as a due from the Israelites for all time throughout the ages. Such are the rituals of the burnt offering, the meal offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the offering of ordination, and the sacrifice of well-being, with which the Lord charged Moses on
Mount Sinai, when He commanded that the Israelites present their offerings to the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water. He put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him, girding him with the decorated band with which he tied it to him. He put the breastpiece on him, and put into the breastpiece the Urim and Thummim. And he set the headdress on his head; and on the headdress, in front, he put the gold frontlet, the holy diadem--as the Lord had commanded Moses.Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the Tabernacle and all that was in it, thus consecrating them. He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointing the altar, all its utensils, and the laver with its stand, to consecrate them. He poured some of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head and anointed him, to consecrate him. Moses then brought Aaron's sons forward, clothed them in tunics, girded them with sashes, and wound turbans upon them, as the Lord had commanded Moses. He led forward the bull of sin offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bull of sin offering, and it was slaughtered. Moses took the blood and with his finger put some on each of the horns of the altar, cleansing the altar; then he poured out the blood at the base of the altar. Thus he consecrated it in order to make expiation upon it. Moses then took all the fat that was about the entrails, and the protuberance of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, and turned them into smoke on the altar. The rest of the bull, its hide, its flesh, and its dung, he put to the fire outside the camp--as the Lord had commanded Moses. Then he brought forward the ram of burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the ram's head, and it was slaughtered. Moses dashed the blood against all sides of the altar. The ram was cut up into sections and Moses turned the head, the sections, and the suet into smoke on the altar; Moses washed the entrails and the legs with water and turned all of the ram into smoke. That was a burnt offering for a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the Lord--as the Lord had commanded Moses. He brought forward the second ram, the ram of ordination. Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the ram's head, and it was slaughtered. Moses took some of its blood and put it on the ridge of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. Moses then brought forward the sons of Aaron, and put some of the blood on the ridges of their right ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet; and the rest of the blood Moses dashed against every side of the altar. He took the fat--the broad tail, all the fat about the entrails, the protuberance of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat--and the right thigh. From the basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord, he took one cake of unleavened bread, one cake of oil bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat parts and on the right thigh. He placed all these on the palms of Aaron and on the palms of his sons, and elevated them as an elevation offering before the Lord. Then Moses took them from their hands and turned them into smoke on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering for a pleasing odor; it was an offering by fire to the Lord. Moses took the breast and elevated it as an elevation offering before the Lord; it was Moses' portion of the ram of ordination--as the Lord had commanded Moses. And Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled it upon Aaron and upon his vestments, and also upon his sons and upon their vestments. Thus he consecrated Aaron and his vestments, and also his sons and their vestments.Moses said to Aaron and his sons: Boil the flesh at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of ordination--as I commanded: Aaron and his sons shall eat it; and what is left over of the flesh and the bread you shall consume in fire. You shall not go outside the entrance of the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the day that your period of ordination is completed. For your ordination will require seven days. Everything done today, the Lord has commanded to be done [seven days], to make expiation for you. You shall remain at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting day and night for seven days, keeping the Lord's charge--that you may not die--for so I have been commanded. And Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded through Moses.

Torah Readings for Pesach "Passover" is Exodus 33:12-34:26

Moses said to the Lord, "See, You say to me, 'Lead this people forward,' but You have not made known to me whom You will send with me. Further, You have said, 'I have singled you out by name, and you have, indeed, gained My favor.' Now, if I have truly gained Your favor, pray let me know Your ways, that I may know You and continue in Your favor. Consider, too, that this nation is Your people." And He said, "I will go in the lead and will lighten your burden." And he said to Him, "Unless You go in the lead, do not make us leave this place. For how shall it be known that Your people have gained Your favor unless You go with us, so that we may be distinguished, Your people and I, from every people on the face of the earth?" And the Lord said to Moses, "I will also do this thing that you have asked; for you have truly gained My favor and I have singled you out by name." He said, "Oh, let me behold Your Presence!" And He answered, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim before you the name Lord, and the grace that I grant and the compassion that I show. But," He said, "you cannot see My face, for man may not see Me and live." And the Lord said, "See, there is a place near Me. Station yourself on the rock and, as My Presence passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and shield you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will take My hand away and you will see My back; but My face must not be seen." The Lord said to Moses: "Carve two tablets of stone like the first, and I will inscribe upon the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you shattered. Be ready by morning, and in the morning come up to Mount Sinai and present yourself there to Me, on the top of the mountain. No one else shall come up with you, and no one else shall be seen anywhere on the mountain; neither shall the flocks and the herds graze at the foot of this mountain." So Moses carved two tablets of stone, like the first, and early in the morning he went up on Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, taking the two stone tablets with him. The Lord came down in a cloud; He stood with him there, and proclaimed the name Lord. The Lord passed before him and proclaimed: "The Lord! the Lord! a God compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in kindness and faithfulness, extending kindness to the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin; yet He does not remit all punishment, but visits the iniquity of parents upon children and children's children, upon the third and fourth generations." Moses hastened to bow low to the ground in homage, and said, "If I have gained Your favor, O Lord, pray, let the Lord go in our midst, even though this is a stiffnecked people. Pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Your own!"

He said: I hereby make a covenant. Before all your people I will work such wonders as have not been wrought on all the earth or in any nation; and all the people who are with you shall see how awesome are the Lord's deeds which I will perform for you. Mark well what I command you this day. I will drive out before you the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Beware of making a covenant with the inhabitants of the land against which you are advancing, lest they be a snare in your midst. No, you must tear down their altars, smash their pillars, and cut down their sacred posts; for you must not worship any other god, because the Lord, whose name is Impassioned, is an impassioned God. You must not make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for they will lust after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and invite you, and you will eat of their sacrifices. And when you take wives from among their daughters for your sons, their daughters will lust after their gods and will cause your sons to lust after their gods. You shall not make molten gods for yourselves. You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread--eating unleavened bread for seven days, as I have commanded you--at the set time of the month of Abib, for in the month of Abib you went forth from Egypt. Every first issue of the womb is Mine, from all your livestock that drop a male as firstling, whether cattle or sheep. But the firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a sheep; if you do not redeem it, you must break its neck. And you must redeem every first-born among your sons. None shall appear before Me empty-handed. Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor; you shall cease from labor even at plowing time and harvest time. You shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the first fruits of the wheat harvest; and the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year. Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel. I will drive out nations from your path and enlarge your territory; no one will covet your land when you go up to appear before the Lord your God three times a year. You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with anything leavened; and the sacrifice of the Feast of Passover shall not be left lying until morning. The choice first fruits of your soil you shall bring to the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

Mission Updates:Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, First radio! Today we have a guest I have never spoken with. He was recommended so I set it up. His name is Trevor Davis. His message for today is called sounding the Alarm. I feel I should share this below email he sent me earlier this week. Oh yes you can listen libe by going to our radio page at 7 PM central, the links for Windows media player are there as well as a listen on the phone line, the program will be placed on the podcast page right after the program about 9 PM central it should be up...

This is the fifth day as I awake I have an uneasy sense in my spirit that fills the atmosphere.

Rick Wiles told me last night he is sensing the same thing. I thought perhaps it was just personal things as I encounter battle. But Dan, I believe that this is the LORD stirring due to extreme DANGER AT HAND. We are on the 'brink of trouble' and the LORD wants us to be advised.

I heard in my spirit, "Stand upon your watch"...this morning. We will have many things to declare in these days. The LORD will be with us as we are with Him. He is putting a fitting word into our mouth that will be as fire, a hammer and a sword. A living word from God that appeals and deals with the masses. This is the hour to fear the LORD and give Him the glory due His name! The people will either fall upon the rock or the rock will fall upon them...grinding to powder all the resistance to His might! The steadfast love of the LORD is beckoning His beloved into His covering wings. Praise the LORD. Trevor

So tonight this will be our guest be sure and tune in! While we are talking about radio, you all do realize that these are live broadcast national radio programs on satellite C-band Satellite Location: Galaxy 11, Channel 12, Audio 8.10 -- 4DTV GB 954 What my point is we have to pay for air-time to broadcast all over North America so if you are blessed by these programs please support them! We are looking for sponsers that wish to sponsor another weekly radio program on AVR at the cost of $100 a month. But I need committed people for this. Also if you are thinking of doing radio I can get you a good deal on doing a prerecorded radio! I would like to see some of us like-minded people buying up airtime on this same day! Okay about Iran. Saints it sure looks to me like Iran took those British Hostages in order to keep the USA, Britain, and Israel from Attacking. I think it will come anyway. Only the Father can stop what is about to happen. Right after we expect Iranian and other Terrorists to possibly even Nuke up to 24 cities inside the USA with dirty bombs. This has been said by government people (but not the number I gave you) and by The Prophet Tom Deckard as well as other men of God. If this happens the lest you could expect is gas prices going up to maybe $5 a gallon or more. Just keep it all in prayer! I just checked on the lots in Florence for sale. They were going to do some work there and up the price from $1,000 to $1,500. I talked them into waiting a few weeks on that so it is in the Lords hands.

Update on the Building! Yesterday it sure looks like we got the donation for all the new floor coverings. Yes that means rugs and floor tile. We will have to buy the things to put them down. But this just saved us a few thousand I would guess. Right now I do not even really have the gas money to go pick them up.You see while I do not pay the help, I have to feed them twice a day. I have been staying with them at our storefront place after work. While we all take sink baths the smell well.It would be nice to rent a hotel room once week to let them all shower after working four days. I have even played with the notion to rent an apartment for a month. But that would take $500. Anyway we need money to buy sheet rock, nails, screws, gas money, money to feed the help, caulking, paints, glues etc. We really need your prayers badly as right now I do not have enough money to start working again this week. So please ask the Lord if he wishes you to help. Any donations will help. Home Depot is also involved with giving free labor we also heard the Indian Center might also over help. But Saints we need funds very badly right now! So may people will be helped as this new location goes up. Again we are not doing fancy just clean and usable. Remember it used to be a bar! Now it is a Mission Church that will feed many poor and homeless with both the Gospel and food. Both kinds!!!!!!!The LORD bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom. Torah Vayikra "And he called" Leviticus 1:1-5:26(6:7)*

Haftarah Isaiah 43:21-44:23 Gospel Luke 1-3

Next Weeks Torah Tsav Command Leviticus 6:8-8:36 Haftorah Jeremiah 7:21-8:3 Gospel Hebrews 8:1-6

If his offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, he shall choose his offering from turtledoves or pigeons. The priest shall bring it to the altar, pinch off its head, and turn it into smoke on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out against the side of the altar. He shall remove its crop with its contents, and cast it into the place of the ashes, at the east side of the altar. The priest shall tear it open by its wings, without severing it, and turn it into smoke on the altar, upon the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering by fire, of pleasing odor to the Lord. When a person presents an offering of meal to the Lord, his offering shall be of choice flour; he shall pour oil upon it, lay frankincense on it, and present it to Aaron's sons, the priests. The priest shall scoop out of it a handful of its choice flour and oil, as well as all of its frankincense; and this token portion he shall turn into smoke on the altar, as an offering by fire, of pleasing odor to the Lord. And the remainder of the meal offering shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the Lord's offerings by fire. When you present an offering of meal baked in the oven, [it shall be of] choice flour: unleavened cakes with oil mixed in, or unleavened wafers spread with oil. If your offering is a meal offering on a griddle, it shall be of choice flour with oil mixed in, unleavened. 6 Break it into bits and pour oil on it; it is a meal offering.

If your offering is a meal offering in a pan, it shall be made of choice flour in oil. When you present to the Lord a meal offering that is made in any of these ways, it shall be brought to the priest who shall take it up to the altar. The priest shall remove the token portion from the meal offering and turn it into smoke on the altar as an offering by fire, of pleasing odor to the Lord. And the remainder of the meal offering shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the Lord's offerings by fire. No meal offering that you offer to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for no leaven or honey may be turned into smoke as an offering by fire to the Lord. You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of choice products; but they shall not be offered up on the altar for a pleasing odor. You shall season your every offering of meal with salt; you shall not omit from your meal offering the salt of your covenant with God; with all your offerings you must offer salt. If you bring a meal offering of first fruits to the Lord, you shall bring new ears parched with fire, grits of the fresh grain, as your meal offering of first fruits. You shall add oil to it and lay frankincense on it; it is a meal offering. And the priest shall turn a token portion of it into smoke: some of the grits and oil, with all of the frankincense, as an offering by fire to the Lord.

If his offering is a sacrifice of well-being-- If he offers of the herd, whether a male or a female, he shall bring before the Lord one without blemish. He shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall dash the blood against all sides of the altar. He shall then present from the sacrifice of well-being, as an offering by fire to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is about the entrails; the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is at the loins; and the protuberance on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys. Aaron's sons shall turn these into smoke on the altar, with the burnt offering which is upon the wood that is on the fire, as an offering by fire, of pleasing odor to the Lord. And if his offering for a sacrifice of well-being to the Lord is from the flock, whether a male or a female, he shall offer one without blemish. If he presents a sheep as his offering, he shall bring it before the Lord and lay his hand upon the head of his offering. It shall be slaughtered before the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron's sons shall dash its blood against all sides of the altar. He shall then present, as an offering by fire to the Lord, the fat from the sacrifice of well-being: the whole broad tail, which shall be removed close to the backbone; the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is about the entrails; the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is at the loins; and the protuberance on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys. The priest shall turn these into smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire to the Lord.

And if his offering is a goat, he shall bring it before the Lord and lay his hand upon its head. It shall be slaughtered before the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron's sons shall dash its blood against all sides of the altar. He shall then present as his offering from it, as an offering by fire to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is about the entrails; the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is at the loins; and the protuberance on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys. The priest shall turn these into smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire, of pleasing odor. All fat is the Lord's. It is a law for all time throughout the ages, in all your settlements: you must not eat any fat or any blood.
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelite people thus: When a person unwittingly incurs guilt in regard to any of the Lord's commandments about things not to be done, and does one of them--If it is the anointed priest who has incurred guilt, so that blame falls upon the people, he shall offer for the sin of which he is guilty a bull of the herd without blemish as a sin offering to the Lord. He shall bring the bull to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, before the Lord, and lay his hand upon the head of the bull. The bull shall be slaughtered before the Lord, and the anointed priest shall take some of the bull's blood and bring it into the Tent of Meeting.

The priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, in front of the curtain of the Shrine. The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of aromatic incense, which is in the Tent of Meeting, before the Lord; and all the rest of the bull's blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. He shall remove all the fat from the bull of sin offering: the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is about the entrails; the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is at the loins; and the protuberance on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys--just as it is removed from the ox of the sacrifice of well-being. The priest shall turn them into smoke on the altar of burnt offering. But the hide of the bull, and all its flesh, as well as its head and legs, its entrails and its dung--all the rest of the bull--he shall carry to a clean place outside the camp, to the ash heap, and burn it up in a wood fire; it shall be burned on the ash heap.

If it is the whole community of Israel that has erred and the matter escapes the notice of the congregation, so that they do any of the things which by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, and they realize their guilt--when the sin through which they incurred guilt becomes known, the congregation shall offer a bull of the herd as a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting. The elders of the community shall lay their hands upon the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull shall be slaughtered before the Lord. The anointed priest shall bring some of the blood of the bull into the Tent of Meeting, and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle of it seven times before the Lord, in front of the curtain. Some of the blood he shall put on the horns of the altar which is before the Lord in the Tent of Meeting, and all the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. He shall remove all its fat from it and turn it into smoke on the altar. He shall do with this bull just as is done with the [priest's] bull of sin offering; he shall do the same with it. Thus the priest shall make expiation for them, and they shall be forgiven. He shall carry the bull outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bull; it is the sin offering of the congregation.

In case it is a chieftain who incurs guilt by doing unwittingly any of the things which by the commandment of the Lord his God ought not to be done, and he realizes his guilt--or the sin of which he is guilty is brought to his knowledge--he shall bring as his offering a male goat without blemish. He shall lay his hand upon the goat's head, and it shall be slaughtered at the spot where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the Lord; it is a sin offering. The priest shall take with his finger some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering. All its fat he shall turn into smoke on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of well-being. Thus the priest shall make expiation on his behalf for his sin, and he shall be forgiven. And if his means do not suffice for two turtledoves or two pigeons, he shall bring as his offering for that of which he is guilty a tenth of an ephah of choice flour for a sin offering; he shall not add oil to it or lay frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering. He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall scoop out of it a handful as a token portion of it and turn it into smoke on the altar, with the Lord's offerings by fire; it is a sin offering. Thus the priest shall make expiation on his behalf for whichever of these sins he is guilty, and he shall be forgiven. It shall belong to the priest, like the meal offering.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: When a person commits a trespass, being unwittingly remiss about any of the Lord's sacred things, he shall bring as his penalty to the Lord a ram without blemish from the flock, convertible into payment in silver by the sanctuary weight, as a guilt offering. He shall make restitution for that wherein he was remiss about the sacred things, and he shall add a fifth part to it and give it to the priest. The priest shall make expiation on his behalf with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven.
And when a person, without knowing it, sins in regard to any of the Lord's commandments about things not to be done, and then realizes his guilt, he shall be subject to punishment. He shall bring to the priest a ram without blemish from the flock, or the equivalent, as a guilt offering. The priest shall make expiation on his behalf for the error that he committed unwittingly, and he shall be forgiven. It is a guilt offering; he has incurred guilt before the Lord. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: When a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by dealing deceitfully with his fellow in the matter of a deposit or a pledge, or through robbery, or by defrauding his fellow, or by finding something lost and lying about it; if he swears falsely regarding any one of the various things that one may do and sin thereby--when one has thus sinned and, realizing his guilt, would restore that which he got through robbery or fraud, or the deposit that was entrusted to him, or the lost thing that he found, or anything else about which he swore falsely, he shall repay the principal amount and add a fifth part to it. He shall pay it to its owner when he realizes his guilt. Then he shall bring to the priest, as his penalty to the Lord, a ram without blemish from the flock, or the equivalent, as a guilt offering. The priest shall make expiation on his behalf before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for whatever he may have done to draw blame thereby.

Millionaire Gives Mansions to Homeless

Mar 23 05:36 AM US/Eastern
By AUDREY McAVOY
Associated Press Writer

HONOLULU (AP) - Dorie-Ann Kahale and her five daughters moved from a homeless shelter to a mansion Thursday, courtesy of a Japanese real estate mogul who is handing over eight of his multimillion-dollar homes to low-income Native Hawaiian families.

Tears spilled down Kahale's cheeks as she accepted from Genshiro Kawamoto the key to a white, columned house with a circular driveway, a stone staircase and a deep porcelain bathtub. Her family will live there rent-free, but must pay utility bills.

"I'm shocked. I'm overwhelmed," Kahale said. "From the little box we had to what we have today."

Kawamoto, whose own eyes started welling up as Kahale cried, handed over two other homes Thursday to homeless or low-income families.

Kawamoto, one of Japan's richest men, said he plans to open eight of his 22 Kahala homes to needy Hawaiian families. They will be able to stay in the homes for up to 10 years, he said.

Native Hawaiians are disproportionately represented among the state's homeless and working poor.

Kawamoto owns dozens of office buildings in Tokyo under the name Marugen and his been buying and selling real estate in Hawaii and California since the 1980s.

He has been criticized for evicting tenants of his rental homes on short notice so he could sell the properties, as in 2002 when he gave hundreds of California tenants 30 days to leave.

Two years later, he served eviction notices to tenants in 27 Oahu rental homes, mostly in pricey Hawaii Kai, saying they had to leave within a month. He said he wanted to sell the houses to take advantage of rising prices.

Kawamoto selected the eight low-income families from 3,000 people who wrote him letters last fall after he announced his plan. He has said he tried to pick working, single mothers.

Giving away mansions shows more dedication to helping Hawaii's homeless than just handing out wads of cash, he said. Asked whether he was concerned about losing money on the effort, he laughed and said: "This is pocket money for me."

Kahale's new house is worth nearly $5 million, an average price for the mansion-like dwellings on Kahala Avenue. It is one of the more modest homes in the neighborhood, many of which feature ornate iron gates, meandering driveways and sculptured gardens.

Kahale became homeless two years ago when her landlord raised her rent from $800 to $1,200, putting the apartment beyond reach of her salary as customer service representative for Pacific LightNet, a telecommunications company. She first stayed with relatives, then moved to a shelter in September.

"What we need to do is appreciate," Kahale said after getting the keys to her new house. "As fast as we got it, it could disappear."

odus 35:1-40:38

Moses then convoked the whole Israelite community and said to them: These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do: On six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. You shall kindle no fire throughout your settlements on the sabbath day. Moses said further to the whole community of Israelites: This is what the Lord has commanded: Take from among you gifts to the Lord; everyone whose heart so moves him shall bring them--gifts for the Lord: gold, silver, and copper; blue, purple, and crimson yarns, fine linen, and goats' hair; tanned ram skins, dolphin skins, and acacia wood; oil for lighting, spices for the anointing oil and for the aromatic incense; lapis lazuli and other stones for setting, for the ephod and the breastpiece. And let all among you who are skilled come and make all that the Lord has commanded: the Tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its planks, its bars, its posts, and its sockets; the ark and its poles, the cover, and the curtain for the screen; the table, and its poles and all its utensils; and the bread of display; the lampstand for lighting, its furnishings and its lamps, and the oil for lighting; the altar of incense and its poles; the anointing oil and the aromatic incense; and the entrance screen for the entrance of the Tabernacle; the altar of burnt offering, its copper grating, its poles, and all its furnishings; the laver and its stand; the hangings of the enclosure, its posts and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court; the pegs for the Tabernacle, the pegs for the enclosure, and their cords; the service vestments for officiating in the sanctuary, the sacral vestments of Aaron the priest and the vestments of his sons for priestly service. So the whole community of the Israelites left Moses' presence. And everyone who excelled in ability and everyone whose spirit moved him came, bringing to the Lord his offering for the work of the Tent of Meeting and for all its service and for the sacral vestments. Men and women, all whose hearts moved them, all who would make an elevation offering of gold to the Lord, came bringing brooches, earrings, rings, and pendants--gold objects of all kinds. And everyone who had in his possession blue, purple, and crimson yarns, fine linen, goats' hair, tanned ram skins, and dolphin skins, brought them; everyone who would make gifts of silver or copper brought them as gifts for the Lord; and everyone who had in his possession acacia wood for any work of the service brought that. And all the skilled women spun with their own hands, and brought what they had spun, in blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and in fine linen. And all the women who excelled in that skill spun the goats' hair. And the chieftains brought lapis lazuli and other stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece; and spices and oil for lighting, for the anointing oil, and for the aromatic incense. Thus the Israelites, all the men and women whose hearts moved them to bring anything for the work that the Lord, through Moses, had commanded to be done, brought it as a freewill offering to the Lord. And Moses said to the Israelites: See, the Lord has singled out by name Bezalel, son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. He has endowed him with a divine spirit of skill, ability, and knowledge in every kind of craft and has inspired him to make designs for work in gold, silver, and copper, to cut stones for setting and to carve wood--to work in every kind of designer's craft--and to give directions. He and Oholiab son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan have been endowed with the skill to do any work--of the carver, the designer, the embroiderer in blue, purple, crimson yarns, and in fine linen, and of the weaver--as workers in all crafts and as makers of designs. Let, then, Bezalel and Oholiab and all the skilled persons whom the Lord has endowed with skill and ability to perform expertly all the tasks connected with the service of the sanctuary carry out all that the Lord has commanded. Moses then called Bezalel and Oholiab, and every skilled person whom the Lord had endowed with skill, everyone who excelled in ability, to undertake the task and carry it out. They took over from Moses all the gifts that the Israelites had brought, to carry out the tasks connected with the service of the sanctuary. But when these continued to bring freewill offerings to him morning after morning, all the artisans who were engaged in the tasks of the sanctuary came, each from the task upon which he was engaged, and said to Moses, "The people are bringing more than is needed for the tasks entailed in the work that the Lord has commanded to be done." Moses thereupon had this proclamation made throughout the camp: "Let no man or woman make further effort toward gifts for the sanctuary!" So the people stopped bringing: their efforts had been more than enough for all the tasks to be done. Then all the skilled among those engaged in the work made the tabernacle of ten strips of cloth, which they made of fine twisted linen, blue, purple, and crimson yarns; into these they worked a design of cherubim. The length of each cloth was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each cloth was four cubits, all cloths having the same measurements. They joined five of the cloths to one another, and they joined the other five cloths to one another. They made loops of blue wool on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and did the same on the edge of the outermost cloth of the other set: they made fifty loops on the one cloth, and they made fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set, the loops being opposite one another. And they made fifty gold clasps and coupled the units to one another with the clasps, so that the tabernacle became one whole. They made cloths of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; they made the cloths eleven in number. The length of each cloth was thirty cubits, and the width of each cloth was four cubits, the eleven cloths having the same measurements. They joined five of the cloths by themselves, and the other six cloths by themselves. They made fifty loops on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and they made fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set. They made fifty copper clasps to couple the tent together so that it might become one whole. And they made a covering of tanned ram skins for the tent, and a covering of dolphin skins above. They made the planks for the Tabernacle of acacia wood, upright. The length of each plank was ten cubits, the width of each plank a cubit and a half. Each plank had two tenons, parallel to each other; they did the same with all the planks of the Tabernacle. Of the planks of the Tabernacle, they made twenty planks for the south side, making forty silver sockets under the twenty planks, two sockets under one plank for its two tenons and two sockets under each following plank for its two tenons; and for the other side wall of the Tabernacle, the north side, twenty planks, with their forty silver sockets, two sockets under one plank and two sockets under each following plank. And for the rear of the Tabernacle, to the west, they made six planks; and they made two planks for the corners of the Tabernacle at the rear. They matched at the bottom, but terminated as one at the top into one ring; they did so with both of them at the two corners. Thus there were eight planks with their sockets of silver: sixteen sockets, two under each plank. They made bars of acacia wood, five for the planks of the one side wall of the Tabernacle, five bars for the planks of the other side wall of the Tabernacle, and five bars for the planks of the wall of the Tabernacle at the rear, to the west; they made the center bar to run, halfway up the planks, from end to end. They overlaid the planks with gold, and made their rings of gold, as holders for the bars; and they overlaid the bars with gold. They made the curtain of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen, working into it a design of cherubim. They made for it four posts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold, with their hooks of gold; and they cast for them four silver sockets. They made the screen for the entrance of the Tent, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen, done in embroidery; and five posts for it with their hooks. They overlaid their tops and their bands with gold; but the five sockets were of copper. Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. He overlaid it with pure gold, inside and out; and he made a gold molding for it round about. He cast four gold rings for it, for its four feet: two rings on one of its side walls and two rings on the other. He made poles of acacia wood, overlaid them with gold, and inserted the poles into the rings on the side walls of the ark for carrying the ark. He made a cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. He made two cherubim of gold; he made them of hammered work, at the two ends of the cover: one cherub at one end and the other cherub at the other end; he made the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at its two ends. The cherubim had their wings spread out above, shielding the cover with their wings. They faced each other; the faces of the cherubim were turned toward the cover. He made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high; he overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold molding around it. He made a rim of a hand's breadth around it and made a gold molding for its rim round about. He cast four gold rings for it and attached the rings to the four corners at its four legs. The rings were next to the rim, as holders for the poles to carry the table. He made the poles of acacia wood for carrying the table, and overlaid them with gold. The utensils that were to be upon the table--its bowls, ladles, jugs, and jars with which to offer libations--he made of pure gold. He made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand--its base and its shaft--of hammered work; its cups, calyxes, and petals were of one piece with it. Six branches issued from its sides: three branches from one side of the lampstand, and three branches from the other side of the lampstand. There were three cups shaped like almond-blossoms, each with calyx and petals, on one branch; and there were three cups shaped like almond-blossoms, each with calyx and petals, on the next branch; so for all six branches issuing from the lampstand. On the lampstand itself there were four cups shaped like almond-blossoms, each with calyx and petals: a calyx, of one piece with it, under a pair of branches; and a calyx, of one piece with it, under the second pair of branches; and a calyx, of one piece with it, under the last pair of branches; so for all six branches issuing from it. Their calyxes and their stems were of one piece with it, the whole of it a single hammered piece of pure gold. He made its seven lamps, its tongs, and its fire pans of pure gold. He made it and all its furnishings out of a talent of pure gold.

He made the incense altar of acacia wood, a cubit long and a cubit wide--square--and two cubits high; its horns were of one piece with it. He overlaid it with pure gold: its top, its sides round about, and its horns; and he made a gold molding for it round about. He made two gold rings for it under its molding, on its two walls--on opposite sides--as holders for the poles with which to carry it. He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold. He prepared the sacred anointing oil and the pure aromatic incense, expertly blended. He made the altar for burnt offering of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide--square--and three cubits high. He made horns for it on its four corners, the horns being of one piece with it; and he overlaid it with copper. He made all the utensils of the altar--the pails, the scrapers, the basins, the flesh hooks, and the fire pans; he made all these utensils of copper. He made for the altar a grating of meshwork in copper, extending below, under its ledge, to its middle. He cast four rings, at the four corners of the copper grating, as holders for the poles. He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with copper; and he inserted the poles into the rings on the sidewalls of the altar, to carry it by them. He made it hollow, of boards. He made the laver of copper and its stand of copper, from the mirrors of the women who performed tasks at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. He made the enclosure: On the south side, a hundred cubits of hangings of fine twisted linen for the enclosure--with their twenty posts and their twenty sockets of copper, the hooks and bands of the posts being silver. On the north side, a hundred cubits--with their twenty posts and their twenty sockets of copper, the hooks and bands of the posts being silver. On the west side, fifty cubits of hangings--with their ten posts and their ten sockets, the hooks and bands of the posts being silver. And on the front side, to the east, fifty cubits: fifteen cubits of hangings on the one flank, with their three posts and their three sockets, and fifteen cubits of hangings on the other flank--on each side of the gate of the enclosure--with their three posts and their three sockets.
All the hangings around the enclosure were of fine twisted linen. The sockets for the posts were of copper, the hooks and bands of the posts were of silver, the overlay of their tops was of silver; all the posts of the enclosure were banded with silver. The screen of the gate of the enclosure, done in embroidery, was of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen. It was twenty cubits long. Its height--or width--was five cubits, like that of the hangings of the enclosure. The posts were four; their four sockets were of copper, their hooks of silver; and the overlay of their tops was of silver, as were also their bands. All the pegs of the Tabernacle and of the enclosure round about were of copper. These are the records of the Tabernacle, the Tabernacle of the Pact, which were drawn up at Moses' bidding--the work of the Levites under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. Now Bezalel, son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of
Judah
, had made all that the Lord had commanded Moses; at his side was Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, carver and designer, and embroiderer in blue, purple, and crimson yarns and in fine linen. All the gold that was used for the work, in all the work of the sanctuary--the elevation offering of gold--came to 29 talents and 730 shekels by the sanctuary weight. The silver of those of the community who were recorded came to 100 talents and 1,775 shekels by the sanctuary weight: a half-shekel a head, half a shekel by the sanctuary weight, for each one who was entered in the records, from the age of twenty years up, 603,550 men. The 100 talents of silver were for casting the sockets of the sanctuary and the sockets for the curtain, 100 sockets to the 100 talents, a talent a socket and of the 1,775 shekels he made hooks for the posts, overlay for their tops, and bands around them.

The copper from the elevation offering came to 70 talents and 2,400 shekels. Of it he made the sockets for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; the copper altar and its copper grating and all the utensils of the altar; the sockets of the enclosure round about and the sockets of the gate of the enclosure; and all the pegs of the Tabernacle and all the pegs of the enclosure round about. Of the blue, purple, and crimson yarns they also made the service vestments for officiating in the sanctuary; they made Aaron's sacral vestments--as the Lord had commanded Moses. The ephod was made of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen. They hammered out sheets of gold and cut threads to be worked into designs among the blue, the purple, and the crimson yarns, and the fine linen. They made for it attaching shoulder-pieces; they were attached at its two Ends. The decorated band that was upon it was made like it, of one piece with it; of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen--as the Lord had commanded Moses. They bordered the lazuli stones with frames of gold, engraved with seal engravings of the names of the sons of
Israel
. They were set on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, as stones of remembrance for the Israelites--as the Lord had commanded Moses.

The breastpiece was made in the style of the ephod: of gold, blue, purple, an crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen. It was square; they made the breastpiece doubled--a span in length and a span in width, doubled. They set in it four rows of stones. The first row was a row of carnelian, chrysolite, and emerald; the second row: a turquoise, a sapphire, and an amethyst; the third row: a jacinth, an agate, and a crystal; and the fourth row: a beryl, a lapis lazuli, and a jasper. They were encircled in their mountings with frames of gold. The stones corresponded [in number] to the names of the sons of
Israel: twelve, corresponding to their names; engraved like seals, each with its name, for the twelve tribes. On the breastpiece they made braided chains of corded work in pure gold. They made two frames of gold and two rings of gold, and fastened the two rings at the two ends of the breastpiece, attaching the two golden cords to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece. They then fastened the two ends of the cords to the two frames, attaching them to the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, at the front. They made two rings of gold and attached them to the two ends of the breastpiece, at its inner edge, which faced the ephod. They made two other rings of gold and fastened them on the front of the ephod, low on the two shoulder-pieces, close to its seam above the decorated band. The breastpiece was held in place by a cord of blue from its rings to the rings of the ephod, so that the breastpiece rested on the decorated band and did not come loose from the ephod--as the Lord had commanded Moses.

The robe for the ephod was made of woven work, of pure blue. The opening of the robe, in the middle of it, was like the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding around the opening, so that it would not tear. On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, twisted. They also made bells of pure gold, and attached the bells between the pomegranates, all around the hem of the robe, between the pomegranates: a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the them of the robe for officiating in--as the Lord had commanded Moses. They made the tunics of fine linen, of woven work, for Aaron and his sons; and the headdress of fine linen, and the decorated turbans of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twisted linen; and sashes of fine twisted linen, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, done in embroidery--as the Lord had commanded Moses they made the frontlet for the holy diadem of pure gold, and incised upon it the seal inscription: "Holy to the Lord." They attached to it a cord of blue to fix it upon the headdress above--as the Lord had commanded Moses. Thus was completed all the work of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. The Israelites did so, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so they did. Then they brought the Tabernacle to Moses, with the Tent and all its furnishings: its clasps, its planks, its bars, its posts, and its sockets; the covering of tanned ram skins, the covering of dolphin skins, and the curtain for the screen; the Ark of the Pact and its poles, and the cover; the table and all its utensils, and the bread of display; the pure lampstand, its lamps--lamps in due order--and all its fittings, and the oil for lighting; the altar of gold, the oil for anointing, the aromatic incense, and the screen for the entrance of the Tent; the copper altar with its copper grating, its poles and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand; the hangings of the enclosure, its posts and its sockets, the screen for the gate of the enclosure, its cords and its pegs--all the furnishings for the service of the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting; the service vestments for officiating in the sanctuary, the sacral vestments of Aaron the priest, and the vestments of his sons for priestly service. Just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so the Israelites had done all the work. And when Moses saw that they had performed all the tasks--as the Lord had commanded, so they had done--Moses blessed them. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: On the first day of the first month you shall set up the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. Place there the Ark of the Pact, and screen off the ark with the curtain. Bring in the table and lay out its due setting; bring in the lampstand and light its lamps; and place the gold altar of incense before the Ark of the Pact. Then put up the screen for the entrance of the Tabernacle.

You shall place the altar of burnt offering before the entrance of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. Place the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it. Set up the enclosure round about, and put in place the screen for the gate of the enclosure. You shall take the anointing oil and anoint the Tabernacle and all that is in it to consecrate it and all its furnishings, so that it shall be holy. Then anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils to consecrate the altar, so that the altar shall be most holy. And anoint the laver and its stand to consecrate it. You shall bring Aaron and his sons forward to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and wash them with the water. Put the sacral vestments on Aaron, and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve Me as priest. Then bring his sons forward, put tunics on them, and anoint them as you have anointed their father, that they may serve Me as priests. This their anointing shall serve them for everlasting priesthood throughout the ages. This Moses did; just as the Lord had commanded him, so he did. In the first month of the second year, on the first of the month, the Tabernacle was set up. Moses set up the Tabernacle, placing its sockets, setting up its planks, inserting its bars, and erecting its posts. He spread the tent over the Tabernacle, placing the covering of the tent on top of it--just as the Lord had commanded Moses. He took the Pact and placed it in the ark; he fixed the poles to the ark, placed the cover on top of the ark, and brought the ark inside the Tabernacle. Then he put up the curtain for screening, and screened off the
Ark of the Pact--just as the Lord had commanded Moses. He placed the table in the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain, on the north side of the Tabernacle. Upon it he laid out the setting of bread before the Lord--as the Lord had commanded Moses. He placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table, on the south side of the Tabernacle. And he lit the lamps before the Lord--as the Lord had commanded Moses. He placed the altar of gold in the Tent of Meeting, before the curtain. On it he burned aromatic incense--as the Lord had commanded Moses. Then he put up the screen for the entrance of the Tabernacle. At the entrance of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting he placed the altar of burnt offering. On it he offered up the burnt offering and the meal offering--as the Lord had commanded Moses. He placed the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing. From it Moses and Aaron and his sons would wash their hands and feet; they washed when they entered the Tent of Meeting and when they approached the altar--as the Lord had commanded Moses. And he set up the enclosure around the Tabernacle and the altar, and put up the screen for the gate of the enclosure. When Moses had finished the work, the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the Presence of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud had settled upon it and the Presence of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. When the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the Israelites would set out, on their various journeys; but if the cloud did not lift, they would not set out until such time as it did lift. For over the Tabernacle a cloud of the Lord rested by day, and fire would appear in it by night, in the view of all the house of Israel
throughout their journeys.

MISSION UPDATES: Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, Yes I have been tied up with the new building. Thank Yahweh for giving me the Sabbath to rest! Where do I start? I have been since the first hearing all kinds of bad things about this neighborhood. It used to be an okay place but of course I have not lived in Wichita for 17 going on 18 years. The hood as I will call it like everyone else does, has really turned into a drug neighborhood. As I have been working on the building I have noticed much of this going on right out front. The police seem to be trying to curb it. One thing I noticed is a White man using his gray haired old mother to walk over and buy drugs for him. Yes it was reported. I also have neighbors very curious about me and what we do. Some are looking forward to a church, some asking about food, some about meals, some are upset over homeless people and of course the dopers do not like me as I am already talking astand against them and told the guy and the old woman that change was coming and we was not moving out! I also found out on Tuesday from someone in an agency ( I say it like this as I should not point him out due to the fact many angencies I find are reading these, go figure?  Also some good people in Wichita ) Anyway this person said he was more or less been called a liar because one day when there was an Ice storm this person gave rides downtown to 23 of the  people waiting on us to show up. They informed this person that it was impossible as only a handful of people ever showed up at MB. This was said by United Way of the Plains. They fund some of the homeless projects and again this person told me what I already knew that they and the Union rescue Mission was against any more service for the homeless as they were all being cared for! For the record as we talked we were over crowed Tuesday. Mom served two Turkeys and ran out.also about 9 dozen egg and cheese sandwiches.some left after sandwiches before the Turkeys. I think she said it added up to 39 plates and I am unsure how many got theres to go. Which means they were full and took their first plates with themmaybe another 10, she could tell you as every plate is written down! Not that we would have to prove to UW how many we serve, so about the time we were talking there was up to or over 50 people inside and out....I told the guys and gals they were just figments of my imagination and of course they all laughed. I also found that the UW is saying all are being cared for because no one is under the bridges. The Police said that this was true as they were not running them out from underneath them..with a little checking this person told me they found the police were not doing it that it was the board of parks doing it! What Liars. AECH the group that is trying to get a 24/7 shelter going has a real battle on their hands as the task force just as I said is leaning towards no shelter  due to the information given them from the Union Rescue Mission and the UW. In fact information from an recent ex employee of the UR says that they are just a farce! Again we will be having to serve more food with the bigger place and the bills will be higher so pray about supporting what we do! We need your support to get the building finished. Right now I might have $400 that I can use and need maybe $4000. I am working on a donation for some carpet. But we need to get this place cleaned up and ready. I will   be spending Sunday thru Wed. to try and get things down but need funds to do it!  Do not miss tonights radio with Prophet Deckard! and please keep us in your prayers! Of course I already knew that.  Pray for Wichita.  The LORD  bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee,  and give thee shalom.  2 Corinthians 9:6-11 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

My weekly update: I'm sorry it is so late I have just had many things going on and not much computer time the last few weeks. Please pray for my mother to regain full strenght and my little brother to come to the Lord to heal fast and the pain in his head to ease and stop. The police are going to charge the person who beat him with pre-meditated attempted murder. There was sufficient evidence found in the house where it took place to make the charge, as well as the weapon used (sledge hammer). The persons   grandmother posted a twenty five hundred cash bond and the first court date is March 20th. There have been reports of the person running to his mothers in
California. I just ask that you would all stand in faith with me that my little brother ends up being closer to Yahweh and be able to provide a life for his two daughters both still under age 6. Last week we made eighteen dozen egg lunchmeat and cheese sandwiches Lynda made nine Tuesday and I made nine dozen Friday. I didn't have Lynda Friday and it really exhausted me.  Tuesday (6th) I made cheeseburger macaroni, mashed taters, green beans -n- bread
-n- butter for dinner. Friday (9th) I made beef-n- noodles, mashed taters, green beans -n bread-n-butter.  Tuesday(13th) I made nine dozen egg lunchmeat-n-cheese sandwiches and for dinner I made
Turkey, dressing & mashed tatters with turkey gravy over all with two buttered rolls. I really do need someone dependable who wants to serve Yahweh and His people. What I need is someone to cook eggs from 1pm to 3pm every Tuesday and Friday. Come see me if your interested in helping out. Pastor Dan will be needing lots of help this coming Sunday thru Wednesday over @ the new building 900 south     Broadway. There is still a ton of work that has to be done before we can begin moving in. The March bills are paid and the April ones have begun coming in. Please pray about supporting these works. I am really tired and still have a few things I need to get done for tomorrow so I will close for now I will write more on the Mission next update:

odus 35:1-40:38

Prison Weekly Adar 20,5767 (March 20,2007)

This Weeks Torah Ki Tisa "When you Take" Exodus 30:11-34:35

Haftarah 1 Kings 18:1-39 Gospel 1Corinthians 8:4-13

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: When you take a census of the Israelite people according to their enrollment, each shall pay the Lord a ransom for himself on being enrolled, that no plague may come upon them through their being enrolled. This is what everyone who is entered in the records shall pay: a half-shekel by the sanctuary weight--twenty gerahs to the shekel--a half-shekel as an offering to the Lord. Everyone who is entered in the records, from the age of twenty years up, shall give the Lord's offering: the rich shall not pay more and the poor shall not pay less than half a shekel when giving the Lord's offering as expiation for your persons. You shall take the expiation money from the Israelites and assign it to the service of the Tent of Meeting; it shall serve the Israelites as a reminder before the Lord, as expiation for your persons. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Make a laver of copper and a stand of copper for it, for washing; and place it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar. Put water in it, and let Aaron and his sons wash their hands and feet [in water drawn] from it. When they enter the Tent of Meeting they shall wash with water, that they may not die; or when they approach the altar to serve, to turn into smoke an offering by fire to the Lord, they shall wash their hands and feet, that they may not die. It shall be a law for all time for them--for him and his offspring--throughout the ages. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Next take choice spices: five hundred weight of solidified myrrh, half as much--two hundred and fifty--of fragrant cinnamon, two hundred and fifty of aromatic cane, five hundred--by the sanctuary weight--of cassia, and a hin of olive oil. Make of this a sacred anointing oil, a compound of ingredients expertly blended, to serve as sacred anointing oil. With it anoint the Tent of Meeting, the Ark of the Pact, the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and all its fittings, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand. Thus you shall consecrate them so that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be consecrated. You shall also anoint Aaron and his sons, consecrating them to serve Me as priests. And speak to the Israelite people, as follows: This shall be an anointing oil sacred to Me throughout the ages. It must not be rubbed on any person's body, and you must not make anything like it in the same proportions; it is sacred, to be held sacred by you. Whoever compounds its like, or puts any of it on a layman, shall be cut off from his kin.

And the Lord said to Moses: Take the herbs stacte, onycha, and galbanum--these herbs together with pure frankincense; let there be an equal part of each. Make them into incense, a compound expertly blended, refined, pure, sacred. Beat some of it into powder, and put some before the Pact in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you; it shall be most holy to you. But when you make this incense, you must not make any in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be held by you sacred to the Lord. Whoever makes any like it, to smell of it, shall be cut off from his kin. The Lord spoke to Moses: See, I have singled out by name Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have endowed him with a divine spirit of skill, ability, and knowledge in every kind of craft; to make designs for work in gold, silver, and copper, to cut stones for setting and to carve wood--to work in every kind of craft. Moreover, I have assigned to him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have also granted skill to all who are skillful, that they may make everything that I have commanded you: the Tent of Meeting, the Ark for the Pact and the cover upon it, and all the furnishings of the Tent; the table and its utensils, the pure lampstand and all its fittings, and the altar of incense; the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand; the service vestments, the sacral vestments of Aaron the priest and the vestments of his sons, for their service as priests; as well as the anointing oil and the aromatic incense for the sanctuary. Just as I have commanded you, they shall do. And the Lord said to Moses: Speak to the Israelite people and say: Nevertheless, you must keep My sabbaths, for this is a sign between Me and you throughout the ages, that you may know that I the Lord have consecrated you. You shall keep the sabbath, for it is holy for you. He who profanes it shall be put to death: whoever does work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his kin. Six days may work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; whoever does work on the sabbath day shall be put to death. The Israelite people shall keep the sabbath, observing the sabbath throughout the ages as a covenant for all time: it shall be a sign for all time between Me and the people of Israel. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He ceased from work and was refreshed.

When He finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the Pact, stone tablets inscribed with the finger of God. When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, the people gathered against Aaron and said to him, "Come, make us a god who shall go before us, for that man Moses, who brought us from the land of Egypt--we do not know what has happened to him." Aaron said to them, "Take off the gold rings that are on the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me." And all the people took off the gold rings that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. This he took from them and cast in a mold, and made it into a molten calf. And they exclaimed, "This is your god, O Israel, who brought you out of the land of Egypt!" When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron announced: "Tomorrow shall be a festival of the Lord!" Early next day, the people offered up burnt offerings and brought sacrifices of well-being; they sat down to eat and drink, and then rose to dance. The Lord spoke to Moses, "Hurry down, for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, have acted basely. They have been quick to turn aside from the way that I enjoined upon them. They have made themselves a molten calf and bowed low to it and sacrificed to it, saying: 'This is your god, O Israel, who brought you out of the land of Egypt!'" The Lord further said to Moses, "I see that this is a stiffnecked people. Now, let Me be, that My anger may blaze forth against them and that I may destroy them, and make of you a great nation." But Moses implored the Lord his God, saying, "Let not Your anger, O Lord, blaze forth against Your people, whom You delivered from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand. Let not the Egyptians say, 'It was with evil intent that He delivered them, only to kill them off in the mountains and annihilate them from the face of the earth.' Turn from Your blazing anger, and renounce the plan to punish Your people. Remember Your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, how You swore to them by Your Self and said to them: I will make your offspring as numerous as the stars of heaven, and I will give to your offspring this whole land of which I spoke, to possess forever." And the Lord renounced the punishment He had planned to bring upon His people.

Thereupon Moses turned and went down from the mountain bearing the two tablets of the Pact, tablets inscribed on both their surfaces: they were inscribed on the one side and on the other. The tablets were God's work, and the writing was God's writing, incised upon the tablets. When Joshua heard the sound of the people in its boisterousness, he said to Moses, "There is a cry of war in the camp." But he answered, "It is not the sound of the tune of triumph, Or the sound of the tune of defeat; It is the sound of song that I hear!" As soon as Moses came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, he became enraged; and he hurled the tablets from his hands and shattered them at the foot of the mountain. He took the calf that they had made and burned it; he ground it to powder and strewed it upon the water and so made the Israelites drink it. Moses said to Aaron, "What did this people do to you that you have brought such great sin upon them?" Aaron said, "Let not my lord be enraged. You know that this people is bent on evil. They said to me, 'Make us a god to lead us; for that man Moses, who brought us from the land of Egypt--we do not know what has happened to him.' So I said to them, 'Whoever has gold, take it off!' They gave it to me and I hurled it into the fire and out came this calf!"

Moses saw that the people were out of control--since Aaron had let them get out of control--so that they were a menace to any who might oppose them. Moses stood up in the gate of the camp and said, "Whoever is for the Lord, come here!" And all the Levites rallied to him. He said to them, "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Each of you put sword on thigh, go back and forth from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay brother, neighbor, and kin." The Levites did as Moses had bidden; and some three thousand of the people fell that day. And Moses said, "Dedicate yourselves to the Lord this day--for each of you has been against son and brother--that He may bestow a blessing upon you today." The next day Moses said to the people, "You have been guilty of a great sin. Yet I will now go up to the Lord; perhaps I may win forgiveness for your sin." Moses went back to the Lord and said, "Alas, this people is guilty of a great sin in making for themselves a god of gold. Now, if You will forgive their sin [well and good]; but if not, erase me from the record which You have written!" But the Lord said to Moses, "He who has sinned against Me, him only will I erase from My record. Go now, lead the people where I told you. See, My angel shall go before you. But when I make an accounting, I will bring them to account for their sins." Then the Lord sent a plague upon the people, for what they did with the calf that Aaron made.

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Set out from here, you and the people that you have brought up from the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'To your offspring will I give it'--I will send an angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites--a land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go in your midst, since you are a stiffnecked people, lest I destroy you on the way." When the people heard this harsh word, they went into mourning, and none put on his finery. The Lord said to Moses, "Say to the Israelite people, 'You are a stiffnecked people. If I were to go in your midst for one moment, I would destroy you. Now, then, leave off your finery, and I will consider what to do to you.'" So the Israelites remained stripped of the finery from Mount Horeb on. Now Moses would take the Tent and pitch it outside the camp, at some distance from the camp. It was called the Tent of Meeting, and whoever sought the Lord would go out to the Tent of Meeting that was outside the camp. Whenever Moses went out to the Tent, all the people would rise and stand, each at the entrance of his tent, and gaze after Moses until he had entered the Tent. And when Moses entered the Tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the Tent, while He spoke with Moses. When all the people saw the pillar of cloud poised at the entrance of the Tent, all the people would rise and bow low, each at the entrance of his tent. The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one man speaks to another. And he would then return to the camp; but his attendant, Joshua son of Nun, a youth, would not stir out of the Tent. For how shall it be known that Your people have gained Your favor unless You go with us, so that we may be distinguished, Your people and I, from every people on the face of the earth?"

And the Lord said to Moses, "I will also do this thing that you have asked; for you have truly gained My favor and I have singled you out by name." He said, "Oh, let me behold Your Presence!" And He answered, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim before you the name Lord, and the grace that I grant and the compassion that I show.

And the Lord said to Moses: Write down these commandments, for in accordance with these commandments I make a covenant with you and with Israel. And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he ate no bread and drank no water; and he wrote down on the tablets the terms of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. So Moses came down from Mount Sinai. And as Moses came down from the mountain bearing the two tablets of the Pact, Moses was not aware that the skin of his face was radiant, since he had spoken with Him. Aaron and all the Israelites saw that the skin of Moses' face was radiant; and they shrank from coming near him. But Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the chieftains in the assembly returned to him, and Moses spoke to them. Afterward all the Israelites came near, and he instructed them concerning all that the Lord had imparted to him on Mount Sinai. And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face. Whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with Him, he would leave the veil off until he came out; and when he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, the Israelites would see how radiant the skin of Moses' face was. Moses would then put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with Him.

Mission Updates:  Philippians 4:6,7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Messiah Yeshua.

Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, Today I am home! Unusual? Yes for sure. You see today is a mission day and I should be in Wichita!  I have been so busy with the new building I have not had a chance to do this months mail out newsletter. Yes we have the funds to do it just I have not had time. Today I will do it and catch up on a couple of things, but first A mission update. The overflow is closed so the people are out on the street. From what I hear the local agencies say everyone has a place to stay? So then just who were these people in the overflow every night?  You see it is really a turf war, they do not want to admit they cannot care for everyone because if they do a 24/7 shelter might open and put them all out of business. I have said this since year one. The main problem is the currant agencies excluding inter-faith a few others..And of course the mega churches along with some of the other 600 to 800 churches in Wichita could also cure the problem.

We have been cleaning and it has been real hard without water. I stayed all night Sunday in Wichita so I was there working Sunday and Monday on cleaning and putting up the fence. AECH paid for the fence, it was a blessing.  Water should be cured today as a plumber showed up yesterday to fix the pipes and put a hot water heater in, this part is being paid for by the people we are buying the building from. So I should be able to power wash and start out side painting. I will be going and getting primer for the building that will cost about $500, which brings me to talking about money etc. Below is a list of materials we are needing and I do NOT have enough funds for all of these things, spring break is coming and I want to get most of the work then, but I need funds and I will have to ask my children but I think spring break is only a week at most two away so Saints we really need your prayers and support now please.

Floor tile for the hall and two bathrooms, also the clothing room. Carpet for two rooms. Coating for ceramic floor tile, main room and office room/intake storage/counseling room.

Sheetrock, for various rooms, replaces some old and builds 5 walls.

Two x fours, nails for walls, mud & tape etc.

Ceiling tile 2 rooms that will be split into 4 rooms.

Hood that goes over stove and Various other odds and ends.

We right now have access to $1,000 in the bank. How much do we need? I will be trying to add this up but I can tell we need close to $5000? This is an old building and things are costly we are doing things to code and I said this will cost more.  Just to have a plumber locate the pipe for the sink it is going to cost $125 at least I was told. This is already being done but we have to pay for it.

So if possible we really need your help now more that ever. We are not trying to make a fancy place only clean and usable.

We were donated a new laptop, something we have needed for years! May the Lord really bless this person who sent it. He is also sending a computer that will replace the one we have down, a main computer! I pray it get's here soon. On another note; I pray those who have offered help and donations will keep their word and follow through as those donations and support we greatly counted on.

I know that it is in The Father's hands and things will get done so we can be a light to Wichita, the Word, and the Dark neighborhood we are moving into..... The LORD  bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom. (peace)

Haftarah 1 Kings 18:1-39 Gospel 1 Corinthians 8:4-13
You shall further instruct the Israelites to bring you clear oil of beaten olives for lighting, for kindling lamps regularly. Aaron and his sons shall set them up in the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain which is over [the Ark of] the Pact, [to burn] from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a due from the Israelites for all time, throughout the ages. You shall bring forward your brother Aaron, with his sons, from among the Israelites, to serve Me as priests: Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron. Make sacral vestments for your brother Aaron, for dignity and adornment. Next you shall instruct all who are skillful, whom I have endowed with the gift of skill, to make Aaron's vestments, for consecrating him to serve Me as priest. These are the vestments they are to make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a fringed tunic, a headdress, and a sash. They shall make those sacral vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for priestly service to Me; they, therefore, shall receive the gold, the blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and the fine linen. They shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and of fine twisted linen, worked into designs. It shall have two shoulder-pieces attached; they shall be attached at its two ends. And the decorated band that is upon it shall be made like it, of one piece with it: of gold, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and of fine twisted linen. Then take two lazuli stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel: six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the remaining six on the other stone, in the order of their birth. On the two stones you shall make seal engravings--the work of a lapidary--of the names of the sons of Israel. Having bordered them with frames of gold, attach the two stones to the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, as stones for remembrance of the Israelite people, whose names Aaron shall carry upon his two shoulder-pieces for remembrance before the Lord. Then make frames of gold and two chains of pure gold; braid these like corded work, and fasten the corded chains to the frames.

You shall make a breastpiece of decision, worked into a design; make it in the style of the ephod: make it of gold, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and of fine twisted linen. It shall be square and doubled, a span in length and a span in width. Set in it mounted stones, in four rows of stones. The first row shall be a row of carnelian, chrysolite, and emerald; the second row: a turquoise, a sapphire, and an amethyst; the third row: a jacinth, an agate, and a crystal; and the fourth row: a beryl, a lapis lazuli, and a jasper. They shall be framed with gold in their mountings. The stones shall correspond [in number] to the names of the sons of Israel: twelve, corresponding to their names. They shall be engraved like seals, each with its name, for the twelve tribes. On the breastpiece make braided chains of corded work in pure gold. Make two rings of gold on the breastpiece, and fasten the two rings at the two ends of the breastpiece, attaching the two golden cords to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece. Then fasten the two ends of the cords to the two frames, which you shall attach to the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, at the front. Make two rings of gold and attach them to the two ends of the breastpiece, at its inner edge, which faces the ephod. And make two other rings of gold and fasten them on the front of the ephod, low on the two shoulder-pieces, close to its seam above the decorated band. The breastpiece shall be held in place by a cord of blue from its rings to the rings of the ephod, so that the breastpiece rests on the decorated band and does not come loose from the ephod. Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel on the breastpiece of decision over his heart, when he enters the sanctuary, for remembrance before the Lord at all times. Inside the breastpiece of decision you shall place the Urim and Thummim, so that they are over Aaron's heart when he comes before the Lord. Thus Aaron shall carry the instrument of decision for the Israelites over his heart before the Lord at all times. You shall make the robe of the ephod of pure blue. The opening for the head shall be in the middle of it; the opening shall have a binding of woven work round about--it shall be like the opening of a coat of mail--so that it does not tear. On its hem make pomegranates of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, all around the hem, with bells of gold between them all around: a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, all around the hem of the robe. Aaron shall wear it while officiating, so that the sound of it is heard when he comes into the sanctuary before the Lord and when he goes out--that he may not die.You shall make a frontlet of pure gold and engrave on it the seal inscription: "Holy to the Lord." Suspend it on a cord of blue, so that it may remain on the headdress; it shall remain on the front of the headdress. It shall be on Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may take away any sin arising from the holy things that the Israelites consecrate, from any of their sacred donations; it shall be on his forehead at all times, to win acceptance for them before the Lord.
You shall make the fringed tunic of fine linen.
You shall make the headdress of fine linen.
You shall make the sash of embroidered work.
And for Aaron's sons also you shall make tunics, and make sashes for them, and make turbans for them, for dignity and adornment. Put these on your brother Aaron and on his sons as well; anoint them, and ordain them and consecrate them to serve Me as priests.

You shall also make for them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; they shall extend from the hips to the thighs. They shall be worn by Aaron and his sons when they enter the Tent of Meeting or when they approach the altar to officiate in the sanctuary, so that they do not incur punishment and die. It shall be a law for all time for him and for his offspring to come. This is what you shall do to them in consecrating them to serve Me as priests: Take a young bull of the herd and two rams without blemish; also unleavened bread, unleavened cakes with oil mixed in, and unleavened wafers spread with oil--make these of choice wheat flour. Place these in one basket and present them in the basket, along with the bull and the two rams. Lead Aaron and his sons up to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water. Then take the vestments, and clothe Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastpiece, and gird him with the decorated band of the ephod. Put the headdress on his head, and place the holy diadem upon the headdress. Take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him. Then bring his sons forward; clothe them with tunics and wind turbans upon them. And gird both Aaron and his sons with sashes. And so they shall have priesthood as their right for all time. You shall then ordain Aaron and his sons. Lead the bull up to the front of the Tent of Meeting, and let Aaron and his sons lay their hands upon the head of the bull. Slaughter the bull before the Lord, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and take some of the bull's blood and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; then pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. Take all the fat that covers the entrails, the protuberance on the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat on them, and turn them into smoke upon the altar. The rest of the flesh of the bull, its hide, and its dung shall be put to the fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering. Next take the one ram, and let Aaron and his sons lay their hands upon the ram's head. Slaughter the ram, and take its blood and dash it against all sides of the altar. Cut up the ram into sections, wash its entrails and legs, and put them with its quarters and its head. Turn all of the ram into smoke upon the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord, a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the Lord. Then take the other ram, and let Aaron and his sons lay their hands upon the ram's head. Slaughter the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the ridge of Aaron's right ear and on the ridges of his sons' right ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet; and dash the rest of the blood against every side of the altar round about. Take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle upon Aaron and his vestments, and also upon his sons and his sons' vestments. Thus shall he and his vestments be holy, as well as his sons and his sons' vestments. You shall take from the ram the fat parts--the broad tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the protuberance on the liver, the two kidneys with the fat on them--and the right thigh; for this is a ram of ordination. Add one flat loaf of bread, one cake of oil bread, and one wafer, from the basket of unleavened bread that is before the Lord. Place all these on the palms of Aaron and his sons, and offer them as an elevation offering before the Lord. Take them from their hands and turn them into smoke upon the altar with the burnt offering, as a pleasing odor before the Lord; it is an offering by fire to the Lord. Then take the breast of Aaron's ram of ordination and offer it as an elevation offering before the Lord; it shall be your portion. You shall consecrate the breast that was offered as an elevation offering and the thigh that was offered as a gift offering from the ram of ordination--from that which was Aaron's and from that which was his sons'--and those parts shall be a due for all time from the Israelites to Aaron and his descendants. For they are a gift; and so shall they be a gift from the Israelites, their gift to the Lord out of their sacrifices of well-being. The sacral vestments of Aaron shall pass on to his sons after him, for them to be anointed and ordained in. He among his sons who becomes priest in his stead, who enters the Tent of Meeting to officiate within the sanctuary, shall wear them seven days.
You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in the sacred precinct; and Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. These things shall be eaten only by those for whom expiation was made with them when they were ordained and consecrated; they may not be eaten by a layman, for they are holy. And if any of the flesh of ordination, or any of the bread, is left until morning, you shall put what is left to the fire; it shall not be eaten, for it is holy. Thus you shall do to Aaron and his sons, just as I have commanded you. You shall ordain them through seven days, and each day you shall prepare a bull as a sin offering for expiation; you shall purge the altar by performing purification upon it, and you shall anoint it to consecrate it. Seven days you shall perform purification for the altar to consecrate it, and the altar shall become most holy; whatever touches the altar shall become consecrated. Now this is what you shall offer upon the altar: two yearling lambs each day, regularly. You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the other lamb at twilight. There shall be a tenth of a measure of choice flour with a quarter of a hin of beaten oil mixed in, and a libation of a quarter hin of wine for one lamb; and you shall offer the other lamb at twilight, repeating with it the meal offering of the morning with its libation--an offering by fire for a pleasing odor to the Lord, a regular burnt offering throughout the generations, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting before the Lord.
For there I will meet with you, and there I will speak with you, and there I will meet with the Israelites, and it shall be sanctified by My Presence. I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and I will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve Me as priests. I will abide among the Israelites, and I will be their God. And they shall know that I the Lord am their God, who brought them out from the land of Egypt that I might abide among them, I the Lord their God.You shall make an altar for burning incense; make it of acacia wood. It shall be a cubit long and a cubit wide--it shall be square--and two cubits high, its horns of one piece with it. Overlay it with pure gold: its top, its sides round about, and its horns; and make a gold molding for it round about. And make two gold rings for it under its molding; make them on its two side walls, on opposite sides. They shall serve as holders for poles with which to carry it. Make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. Place it in front of the curtain that is over the Ark of the Pact--in front of the cover that is over the Pact--where I will meet with you. On it Aaron shall burn aromatic incense: he shall burn it every morning when he tends the lamps, and Aaron shall burn it at twilight when he lights the lamps--a regular incense offering before the Lord throughout the ages. You shall not offer alien incense on it, or a burnt offering or a meal offering; neither shall you pour a libation on it. Once a year Aaron shall perform purification upon its horns with blood of the sin offering of purification; purification shall be performed upon it once a year throughout the ages. It is most holy to the Lord.
Mission Updates: Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, Okay more news first on the building: We are getting closer to having enough money to do what needs to be done. We had someone donate of all things a lottery ticket worth between $1,800 and $2,000. A friend is sending it in for us. While this brings us closer to our goal we have not yet reached it by any means. We are in need of lots of paint and sheet rock, mud and tape. Mom, my son, and I just got home from going over there and stringing some construction lights up. I will send some pictures out tomorrow. We are using a generator right now for electric and it will be two weeks before they can get the electrician out to do his work. The Lights cost us roughly $50 to light half the place up and I should light the other half, but I am trying to save the Lords money as this place is going to take more work in some areas than I thought. Wow when the lights came on you would not believe just how dirty this place is. Can you guess at all the yellow nicotine stains the place has? The ceiling in the main room is yellow. It also needs some new sheetrock patches put up. I really would just like to re-rock the whole ceiling in there and do it right. Some wood paneling will have to be taken down and it is rotten, then replaced or the sheet rock behind fixed. I will know more after Wed as that will be my first real work day there. I intend to pull up the carpet in the place and really see what the floors are like. I think the main room and some very pretty red ceramic tile on it so we should be cool there. Money for the fence was donated by AECH, a great blessing and I have the help of some one who just put up 600 feet of fence so that should go easy. That will get done the first of next week is our planned date for that. A whole room needs the ceiling tile replaces it is cracked and dirty. I would like to replace the tile in the other room also as I want this place clean and healthy! While I do have guys that are volunteering to do the work, I will have to feed them etc. We had a man who donates lunch meat, cheese, and cheese crackers every week got us a huge dumpster set up for us, that saved some bucks as it about 8 ft tall and about 26 feet long, well I could about drive two cars into it. Again I am amazed at where some of the money from this and labor is coming from, we did get in some needed funds also to pay bills and do the mail out Newsletter. But we still need to raise funds fro the new building! So please tell others and keep praying. We are going to be helping people in a bigger way than before so we need your help ASAP. I think someone is donating a good laptop. We had a pretty good response from a radio program I did last week about demonic possession and hooking up people who have came out of various churches and or looking for like minded believers. This is going to be a major project with me if you wish to help in someway with this project let me know! Friday we had many new faces and more women than normal. So many need help and the new place will do that for them. We are about loving one another and setting an example for others to follow to show the Fathers love. I gave out socks and medications as I had them. We need blankets badly as the overflow is closing this next week. Sleeping bags would be nice. We need money for Large Print KJV Bibles. We are out of the ones we set on the table for people to take. So these are needed badly. Oh yes there was not live radio this last week because American Voice Radio was down with no power do to a snow storm. We could have podcast a radio program but I have no way to balance the sound. We really need to get this studio fixed; the sound device I need to be able to balance the sound from a telephone cost almost $500, this would help all areas of this ministry as we could get more out! Most people listen from their I pods, phones and computers anyway. Also we need to be able to prerecord programs badly. Without this I can only record me by myself or with someone here with me. Anyway help if you can and above all pray for this ministry. And I do wish to really thank all those in the Wichita area that have been coming forth to help get the new building done, and of course I thank all of the rest of you that have donated, prayed, told others about us, etc.. The LORD  bless thee and keep thee;  The   LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom. (peace) Bemidbar (Numbers)  6:24-26
In Yeshua's Name, Bro. Dan, Pastor of Messiah's
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Shalom In Yeshua Our Messiah, Friday we were packed and had many new faces, it seems to be that more women are coming than have in the past.  We gave out warm socks, cheese crackers and candy canes to everyone. Lynda made eight dozen egg, lunchmeat & cheese sandwiches and also made several grilled cheese. I set out several trays and cases of sweets and gave out over thirty loafs of bread. I served twenty bowls of left over goulash and made spaghetti, green beans and garlic toast for dinner everything was eaten but a couple butter bowls of spaghetti. I will serve it out tomorrow with left over chili I had in the freezer from last week. We received a clothing donation Friday of about twenty bags full of various clothing that came from a second hand store out by Kingman. I have yet to go through them, I pray to get that done early tomorrow. We received another 1500. for the building today along with 300 for large print bibles and another 135. to the building.  I should have the funds to pay what bills that are in and I have the funds to do the Newsletter Friday then pay eight weeks of radio. Glory & Praise to Yahweh He is the Supplier of ALL NEEDS. Amen We ask you all to seek Him an see if you are a vessel He is waiting to use in this ministry. Just ask Him an then follow His lead, amen. Read the Book of Esther- The Story of Purim,

This Adar 13 (March 3) at dark through Adar 15 (March 5) at dark are the two days of Purim according to the Biblical Aviv Calendar. Torah Tetzaveh "You shall command" Exodus 27:20-30:10 Haftarah Ezekiel 43:10:27 Gospel Mark 12

And they shall know that I the Lord am their God, who brought them out from the land of Egypt that I might abide among them, I the Lord their God.
You shall make an altar for burning incense; make it of acacia wood. Please Remember To Read your KJV Bible also Shalom

Summing up the Purim holiday in 10 words or less:
They tried to kill us, we won, let's eat.

The name Megillat Esther (Scroll of Esther) actually mean "revealing the hidden." Unlike every other book in the Bible, Megillat Esther never mentions God's name even once. The hidden hand of God is revealed through the maze of events. There are no coincidences.Megillat Esther teaches us that life challenges work out for the best, because what appears as obstacles are really opportunities to develop ourselves for the better. And it all comes from God's invisible hand that guides our fate, every step of the way. CELEBRATING PURIM TODAY There are four mitzvot specific to the holiday of Purim: Reading the Megillah (Scroll of Esther) Festivity and rejoicing (the Purim meal)  Sending food to friends (Mishloach Manot) Giving gifts to the poor (Matanot La'evyonim) The Book of Esther is read on Purim night, and again the next day. Every word must be clearly heard. We read it in the synagogue, because the larger the crowd, the greater publicity is given to the miracle of our being saved. On Purim morning, we bustle around town visiting friends and delivering tasty treats -- Mishloach Manot. Purim is the day we reach out to embrace our fellow Jews -- irrespective of any religious or social differences. After all, Haman did not discriminate amongst us... that's why it is particularly good to give gifts to those who you may have had an argument with, or someone new in the community who needs a new friend. On Purim, it is also a special mitzvah to give gifts of money to the poor. The Jewish people are one unit -- we can't possibly enjoy the holiday if poor people don't have enough. Then comes the day's grand finale -- the festive meal. We eat our fill and pamper our bodies -- because it is the Jewish bodies that Haman sought to destroy. Also, we are obliged to imbibe alcohol (responsibly, of course) until one doesn't know the difference between "cursed is Haman" and "blessed is Mordechai." We dress up in costumes, to let our defenses down and open up to the deeper reality of ourselves and our world. All our current problems and life's imperfections blend into good, until they become one unified expression of the Almighty's infinite perfection. There is truly no other holiday like Purim!
