Gospel 1Corinthians 10:6-13

The Lord spoke to Moses: Take a census of the Gershonites also, by their ancestral house and by their clans. Record them from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who are subject to service in the performance of tasks for the Tent of Meeting. These are the duties of the Gershonite clans as to labor and porterage: they shall carry the cloths of the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting with its covering, the covering of dolphin skin that is on top of it, and the screen for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; the hangings of the enclosure, the screen at the entrance of the gate of the enclosure that surrounds the Tabernacle, the cords thereof, and the altar, and all their service equipment and all their accessories; and they shall perform the service. All the duties of the Gershonites, all their porterage and all their service, shall be performed on orders from Aaron and his sons; you shall make them responsible for attending to all their porterage. Those are the duties of the Gershonite clans for the Tent of Meeting; they shall attend to them under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. As for the Merarites, you shall record them by the clans of their ancestral house; you shall record them from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who are subject to service in the performance of the duties for the Tent of Meeting. These are their porterage tasks in connection with their various duties for the Tent of Meeting: the planks, the bars, the posts, and the sockets of the Tabernacle; the posts around the enclosure and their sockets, pegs, and cords--all these furnishings and their service: you shall list by name the objects that are their porterage tasks. Those are the duties of the Merarite clans, pertaining to their various duties in the Tent of Meeting under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. So Moses, Aaron, and the chieftains of the community recorded the Kohathites by the clans of their ancestral house, from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who were subject to service for work relating to the Tent of Meeting. Those recorded by their clans came to 2,750. That was the enrollment of the Kohathite clans, all those who performed duties relating to the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron recorded at the command of the Lord through Moses. The Gershonites who were recorded by the clans of their ancestral house, from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who were subject to service for work relating to the Tent of Meeting--those recorded by the clans of their ancestral house came to 2,630. That was the enrollment of the Gershonite clans, all those performing duties relating to the Tent of Meeting whom Moses and Aaron recorded at the command of the Lord. The enrollment of the Merarite clans by the clans of their ancestral house, from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who were subject to service for work relating to the Tent of Meeting--those recorded by their clans came to 3,200. That was the enrollment of the Merarite clans which Moses and Aaron recorded at the command of the Lord through Moses. All the Levites whom Moses, Aaron, and the chieftains of Israel recorded by the clans of their ancestral houses, from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who were subject to duties of service and porterage relating to the Tent of Meeting--those recorded came to 8,580. Each one was given responsibility for his service and porterage at the command of the Lord through Moses, and each was recorded as the Lord had commanded Moses. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Instruct the Israelites to remove from camp anyone with an eruption or a discharge and anyone defiled by a corpse. Remove male and female alike; put them outside the camp so that they do not defile the camp of those in whose midst I dwell. The Israelites did so, putting them outside the camp; as the Lord had spoken to Moses, so the Israelites did. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelites: When a man or woman commits any wrong toward a fellow man, thus breaking faith with the Lord, and that person realizes his guilt, he shall confess the wrong that he has done. He shall make restitution in the principal amount and add one-fifth to it, giving it to him whom he has wronged. If the man has no kinsman to whom restitution can be made, the amount repaid shall go to the Lord for the priest--in addition to the ram of expiation with which expiation is made on his behalf. So, too, any gift among the sacred donations that the Israelites offer shall be the priest's. And each shall retain his sacred donations: each priest shall keep what is given to him. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelite people and say to them: If any man's wife has gone astray and broken faith with him in that a man has had carnal relations with her unbeknown to her husband, and she keeps secret the fact that she has defiled herself without being forced, and there is no witness against her--but a fit of jealousy comes over him and he is wrought up about the wife who has defiled herself; or if a fit of jealousy comes over one and he is wrought up about his wife although she has not defiled herself--the man shall bring his wife to the priest. And he shall bring as an offering for her one-tenth of an ephah of barley flour. No oil shall be poured upon it and no frankincense shall be laid on it, for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering of remembrance which recalls wrongdoing. The priest shall bring her forward and have her stand before the Lord. The priest shall take sacral water in an earthen vessel and, taking some of the earth that is on the floor of the Tabernacle, the priest shall put it into the water. After he has made the woman stand before the Lord, the priest shall bare the woman's head and place upon her hands the meal offering of remembrance, which is a meal offering of jealousy. And in the priest's hands shall be the water of bitterness that induces the spell. The priest shall adjure the woman, saying to her, "If no man has lain with you, if you have not gone astray in defilement while married to your husband, be immune to harm from this water of bitterness that induces the spell. But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and have defiled yourself, if a man other than your husband has had carnal relations with you"--here the priest shall administer the curse of adjuration to the woman, as the priest goes on to say to the woman--"may the Lord make you a curse and an imprecation among your people, as the Lord causes your thigh to sag and your belly to distend; may this water that induces the spell enter your body, causing the belly to distend and the thigh to sag." And the woman shall say, "Amen, amen!"

The priest shall put these curses down in writing and rub it off into the water of bitterness. He is to make the woman drink the water of bitterness that induces the spell, so that the spell-inducing water may enter into her to bring on bitterness. Then the priest shall take from the woman's hand the meal offering of jealousy, elevate the meal offering before the Lord, and present it on the altar. The priest shall scoop out of the meal offering a token part of it and turn it into smoke on the altar. Last, he shall make the woman drink the water. Once he has made her drink the water--if she has defiled herself by breaking faith with her husband, the spell-inducing water shall enter into her to bring on bitterness, so that her belly shall distend and her thigh shall sag; and the woman shall become a curse among her people. But if the woman has not defiled herself and is pure, she shall be unharmed and able to retain seed. This is the ritual in cases of jealousy, when a woman goes astray while married to her husband and defiles herself, or when a fit of jealousy comes over a man and he is wrought up over his wife: the woman shall be made to stand before the Lord and the priest shall carry out all this ritual with her. The man shall be clear of guilt; but that woman shall suffer for her guilt. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelites and say to them: If anyone, man or woman, explicitly utters a nazirite's vow, to set himself apart for the Lord, he shall abstain from wine and any other intoxicant; he shall not drink vinegar of wine or of any other intoxicant, neither shall he drink anything in which grapes have been steeped, nor eat grapes fresh or dried. Throughout his term as nazirite, he may not eat anything that is obtained from the grapevine, even seeds or skin. Throughout the term of his vow as nazirite, no razor shall touch his head; it shall remain consecrated until the completion of his term as nazirite of the Lord, the hair of his head being left to grow untrimmed. Throughout the term that he has set apart for the Lord, he shall not go in where there is a dead person. Even if his father or mother, or his brother or sister should die, he must not defile himself for them, since hair set apart for his God is upon his head: throughout his term as nazirite he is consecrated to the Lord. If a person dies suddenly near him, defiling his consecrated hair, he shall shave his head on the day he becomes clean; he shall shave it on the seventh day. On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two pigeons to the priest, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. The priest shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make expiation on his behalf for the guilt that he incurred through the corpse. That same day he shall reconsecrate his head and rededicate to the Lord his term as nazirite; and he shall bring a lamb in its first year as a penalty offering. The previous period shall be void, since his consecrated hair was defiled. This is the ritual for the nazirite: On the day that his term as nazirite is completed, he shall be brought to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. As his offering to the Lord he shall present: one male lamb in its first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering; one ewe lamb in its first year, without blemish, for a sin offering; one ram without blemish for an offering of well-being; a basket of unleavened cakes of choice flour with oil mixed in, and unleavened wafers spread with oil; and the proper meal offerings and libations. The priest shall present them before the Lord and offer the sin offering and the burnt offering. He shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of well-being to the Lord, together with the basket of unleavened cakes; the priest shall also offer the meal offerings and the libations. The nazirite shall then shave his consecrated hair, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and take the locks of his consecrated hair and put them on the fire that is under the sacrifice of well-being. The priest shall take the shoulder of the ram when it has been boiled, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and place them on the hands of the nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated hair. The priest shall elevate them as an elevation offering before the Lord; and this shall be a sacred donation for the priest, in addition to the breast of the elevation offering and the thigh of gift offering. After that the nazirite may drink wine. Such is the obligation of a nazirite; except that he who vows an offering to the Lord of what he can afford, beyond his nazirite requirements, must do exactly according to the vow that he has made beyond his obligation as a nazirite. The Lord spoke to Moses: Speak to Aaron and his sons: Thus shall you bless the people of Israel. Say to them: The Lord bless you and protect you! The Lord deal kindly and graciously with you! The Lord bestow His favor upon you and grant you peace! Thus they shall link My name with the people of Israel, and I will bless them. On the day that Moses finished setting up the Tabernacle, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings, as well as the altar and its utensils. When he had anointed and consecrated them, the chieftains of Israel, the heads of ancestral houses, namely, the chieftains of the tribes, those who were in charge of enrollment, drew near and brought their offering before the Lord: six draught carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two chieftains and an ox for each one. When they had brought them before the Tabernacle, the Lord said to Moses: Accept these from them for use in the service of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the Levites according to their respective services. Moses took the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. Two carts and four oxen he gave to the Gershonites, as required for their service, and four carts and eight oxen he gave to the Merarites, as required for their service--under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. But to the Kohathites he did not give any; since theirs was the service of the [most] sacred objects, their porterage was by shoulder. The chieftains also brought the dedication offering for the altar upon its being anointed. As the chieftains were presenting their offerings before the altar, the Lord said to Moses: Let them present their offerings for the dedication of the altar, one chieftain each day. The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah. Mission Updates: Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, Praise the Lord. We just received a $1,000 donation, this person will receive a blessing I mean the gift given with the spirit of those whom it really helps will never know who tom thank but the Lord as that is what we tell them all to give their thanks to.  We have come so far along with this project. Soon I will total things out and let you all know how much it cost to rebuild this building. But how can you weigh the cost against a human life or many for that matter? I am watching right now the last sheet rocking that needs to be done amen. We are now down to painting, touch ups, laying carpet, doing trim work, and a few other odds and ends. We have all the carpet we need but do need tile or some kind of flooring for the kitchen area. But saints this will not take us to the end, it will bring us into the very last stages but still it will not be enough to finish. So please pray about any kind of support that you can give. It will not cover all that is needed. Please consider helping if you can at all. This will be over very shortly but we must make this the last effort to fund raise so we can be done with this…..so please will you lift this up to prayer? Oh yes Harvey put off his surgery because he wants to finish this up first. he went to check in and they told him they had to wait till Friday as he had been taking aspirins for pain. Aspirin make your blood thin, so he decided he was just going to put it off without being able to take pain medications till after June 1st. A sacrifice that he will be greatly blessed for, but still lift him up in prayer please.

The LORD  bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom. (peace) Bemidbar (Numbers)  6:24-26 In Yeshua's Name, Bro. Dan, Pastor of Messiah's Branch

Shalom In Yeshua our Messiah

Last Friday I made eight an a half dozen sandwiches and eight dozen Tuesday. I have not been getting to the mission at 1pm something always comes up at the last minute. The past few times I haven't gotten there until 1:30. By the time I get everything set up and ready to serve I haven't been able to start the sandwiches until close to 2pm. Friday I made sandwiches up until ten minutes to four and Tuesday it was 4pm when I stopped. It makes it kinda rough to do that and still make the 4:30 dinner time. Tuesday I was ten minutes late serving dinner.  Friday I made white meat chicken gravy over rice cooked in chicken broth, buttered green beans and bread-n-butter. Tuesday I made chili red ( that's spaghetti covered w/chili ) and bread-n- butter. Almost all of the May bills are in now and none of them have been paid. The newsletter should go out next Friday if all the funding is in to do it. I received seventy stamps for the prison weekly. I am going to be needing an ink cartridge for the copy machine very soon it was really light last week. I'm not sure what one will cost the machine was donated and came from a huge office firm. It will do just about anything a person knows what to tell it to do. The building is getting really close to being done Pastor Dan has been doing a really good job keeping us all up dated. The electric is suppose to be on next week and we also have to move no matter what. Yahweh did provide, He led me to a sale of pre made 80%hambugers that we can cook outside on a grill until we can get completely moved in an operable. I am also prepared to cook egg sandwiches on the grill if I have to. We will not stop feeding the people no matter what. Please pray about helping these works there are so many needs to get this complete and to stay up an running. We must not fail the people they count on us to be there for them. We serve so many that no one wants and they depend on us to feed them. My heart really breaks that the people of Wichita do not take a stand an demand a 24/7 shelter for those in need. Well keep us in your prayers and while you pray remember those who are without, lift them up that Yahweh provide for them and keep them in safety.

I will write more on these works & the Mission next update:

" THE Truth will set you FREE"

THIS CAME FROM A FRIEND:

I have shared this vision with some of you, but I felt like the Lord spoke to me again and I believe the two go together. I don't know whether it was a dream or vision; because I am not sure if I was awake or asleep. But I believe what I saw was from God. I was standing in my living room looking out the window and I saw a dark cloud covering the southwest corner of Wichita, it was almost black. I went to my kitchen window which faces that direction to get a better view. The back of the cloud was like a blanket, but the front of the cloud was rolling horizontally in a large circle and moving very quickly. I was not sure whether it was a cloud or not. It reminded me of the cloud of dust that chased the people down the street after the towers fell on 9/11. It also resembled the clouds that follow a volcanic eruption, they blow up everything they touch. I went outside to see it better, but when I looked up I could not see it. I went back inside and looked out the window and saw it just as before.

Before I had a chance to tell my husband about it that night; I heard him talking about a prophecy given at our church in Dec.( I had been absent that Sunday.)  It took my breath away, because he was talking about darkness coming and I knew when he said it, that it was what I had seen in my dream. I have attached the prophecy to this e-mail. Last night I was flipping the channels, a show was on where a city was being attacked. The leader said, Bring in the provisions, double the guard & seal the gate. The Lord spoke to me, right then, this is a word from the Lord, to you. And he repeated it 3 times.

Bring in the provisions, double the guard & seal the gate.

Bring in the provisions, double the guard & seal the gate.

Bring in the provisions, double the guard & seal the gate.

I don't believe this word is for me alone. I am asking you to judge this word and seek the Lord as to what it means to you. Is it for the spiritual realm alone or the physical also? Is it for Wichita, Ks. alone or our whole nation? Is it time to get our houses in order, spiritually and physically? If you have any insight please, let me know. I imagine that the Lord might speak something different to each one of us, for we are members of His body, with different jobs to do. Please, seek the Lord as to what He would have you do. He is telling us to do something!

The Coal Basket

The story is told of an old man who lived on a farm in the mountains of
Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning, Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading from his old worn out Bible. His grandson who wanted to be just like him tried to imitate him in any way he could.  One day the grandson asked, "Papa, I try to read the Bible just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand, I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Bible do?"

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and said, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring back a basket of water" The boy did as he was told, even though all the water leaked out before he could get back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "You will have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was "impossible to carry water in a basket," and he went to get a bucket instead.

The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You can do this. You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got far at all.  The boy scooped the water and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, "See Papa, it's useless!"

"So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket."

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time he realized that the basket looked different.  Instead of a dirty old coal basket, it was clean.  "Son, that's what happens when you read the Bible. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, it will change you from the inside out." That is the work of God in our lives. To change us from the inside out and to slowly transform us into the image of His son. Take time to read a portion of God's word each day, and remind a friend by sharing this story.

Those are the elected of the assembly, the chieftains of their ancestral tribes: they are the heads of the contingents of Israel.

So Moses and Aaron took those men, who were designated by name, and on the first day of the second month they convoked the whole community, who were registered by the clans of their ancestral houses--the names of those aged twenty years and over being listed head by head. As the Lord had commanded Moses, so he recorded them in the wilderness of Sinai. They totaled as follows: The descendants of Reuben, Israel's first-born, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, head by head, all males aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Reuben: 46,500. Of the descendants of Simeon, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, their enrollment as listed by name, head by head, all males aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Simeon: 59,300. Of the descendants of Gad, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Gad: 45,650. Of the descendants of Judah, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Judah: 74,600.

Of the descendants of Issachar, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Issachar: 54,400.  Of the descendants of Zebulun, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Zebulun: 57,400.
Of the descendants of Joseph: Of the descendants of Ephraim, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Ephraim: 40,500. Of the descendants of Manasseh, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Manasseh: 32,200. Of the descendants of Benjamin, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Benjamin: 35,400. Of the descendants of Dan, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Dan: 62,700.
Of the descendants of Asher, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house, as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Asher: 41,500. [Of] the descendants of Naphtali, the registration of the clans of their ancestral house as listed by name, aged twenty years and over, all who were able to bear arms--those enrolled from the tribe of Naphtali: 53,400.
Those are the enrollments recorded by Moses and Aaron and by the chieftains of Israel, who were twelve in number, one man to each ancestral house. All the Israelites, aged twenty years and over, enrolled by ancestral houses, all those in Israel who were able to bear arms--all who were enrolled came to 603,550.

The Levites, however, were not recorded among them by their ancestral tribe. For the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying: Do not on any account enroll the tribe of Levi or take a census of them with the Israelites. You shall put the Levites in charge of the Tabernacle of the Pact, all its furnishings, and everything that pertains to it: they shall carry the Tabernacle and all its furnishings, and they shall tend it; and they shall camp around the Tabernacle. When the Tabernacle is to set out, the Levites shall take it down, and when the Tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up; any outsider who encroaches shall be put to death. The Israelites shall encamp troop by troop, each man with his division and each under his standard. The Levites, however, shall camp around the Tabernacle of the Pact, that wrath may not strike the Israelite community; the Levites shall stand guard around the Tabernacle of the Pact.
The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: The Israelites shall camp each with his standard, under the banners of their ancestral house; they shall camp around the Tent of Meeting at a distance.
Camped on the front, or east side: the standard of the division of Judah, troop by troop. Chieftain of the Judites: Nahshon son of Amminadab. His troop, as enrolled: 74,600. Camping next to it: The tribe of Issachar. Chieftain of the Issacharites: Nethanel son of Zuar. His troop, as enrolled: 54,400. The tribe of Zebulun. Chieftain of the Zebulunites: Eliab son of Helon. His troop, as enrolled: 57,400. The total enrolled in the division of Judah: 186,400, for all troops. These shall march first. On the south: the standard of the division of Reuben, troop by troop. Chieftain of the Reubenites: Elizur son of Shedeur. His troop, as enrolled: 46,500. Camping next to it: The tribe of Simeon. Chieftain of the Simeonites: Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. His troop, as enrolled: 59,300. And the tribe of Gad. Chieftain of the Gadites: Eliasaph son of Reuel. 15 His troop, as enrolled: 45,650.
The total enrolled in the division of Reuben: 151,450, for all troops. These shall march second. Then, midway between the divisions, the Tent of Meeting, the division of the Levites, shall move. As they camp, so they shall march, each in position, by their standards.

On the west: the standard of the division of Ephraim, troop by troop. Chieftain of the Ephraimites: Elishama son of Ammihud. His troop, as enrolled: 40,500. Next to it: The tribe of Manasseh. Chieftain of the Manassites: Gamaliel son of Pedahzur. His troop, as enrolled: 32,200. And the tribe of Benjamin. Chieftain of the Benjaminites: Abidan son of Gideoni. His troop, as enrolled: 35,400. The total enrolled in the division of Ephraim: 108,100 for all troops. These shall march third. On the north: the standard of the division of Dan, troop by troop. Chieftain of the Danites: Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. His troop, as enrolled: 62,700. Camping next to it: The tribe of Asher. Chieftain of the Asherites: Pagiel son of Ochran. His troop, as enrolled: 41,500. And the tribe of Naphtali. Chieftain of the Naphtalites: Ahira son of Enan. His troop, as enrolled: 53,400. The total enrolled in the division of Dan: 157,600. These shall march last, by their standards. Those are the enrollments of the Israelites by ancestral houses. The total enrolled in the divisions, for all troops: 603,550. The Levites, however, were not recorded among the Israelites, as the Lord had commanded Moses. The Israelites did accordingly; just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so they camped by their standards, and so they marched, each with his clan according to his ancestral house. This is the line of Aaron and Moses at the time that the Lord spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai. These were the names of Aaron's sons: Nadab, the first-born, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar; those were the names of Aaron's sons, the anointed priests who were ordained for priesthood. But Nadab and Abihu died by the will of the Lord, when they offered alien fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai; and they left no sons. So it was Eleazar and Ithamar who served as priests in the lifetime of their father Aaron. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Advance the tribe of Levi and place them in attendance upon Aaron the priest to serve him. They shall perform duties for him and for the whole community before the Tent of Meeting, doing the work of the Tabernacle. They shall take charge of all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting--a duty on behalf of the Israelites--doing the work of the Tabernacle. You shall assign the Levites to Aaron and to his sons: they are formally assigned to him from among the Israelites. You shall make Aaron and his sons responsible for observing their priestly duties; and any outsider who encroaches shall be put to death. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: I hereby take the Levites from among the Israelites in place of all the first-born, the first issue of the womb among the Israelites: the Levites shall be Mine. For every first-born is Mine: at the time that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt, I consecrated every first-born in Israel, man and beast, to Myself, to be Mine, the Lord's. The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying: Record the Levites by ancestral house and by clan; record every male among them from the age of one month up. So Moses recorded them at the command of the Lord, as he was bidden. These were the sons of Levi by name: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. These were the names of the sons of Gershon by clan: Libni and Shimei. The sons of Kohath by clan: Amram and Izhar, Hebron
and Uzziel. The sons of Merari by clan: Mahli and Mushi.

These were the clans of the Levites within their ancestral houses:

To Gershon belonged the clan of the Libnites and the clan of the Shimeites; those were the clans of the Gershonites. The recorded entries of all their males from the age of one month up, as recorded, came to 7,500. The clans of the Gershonites were to camp behind the Tabernacle, to the west. The chieftain of the ancestral house of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael. The duties of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting comprised: the tabernacle, the tent, its covering, and the screen for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; the hangings of the enclosure, the screen for the entrance of the enclosure which surrounds the Tabernacle, the cords thereof, and the altar--all the service connected with these. To Kohath belonged the clan of the Amramites, the clan of the Izharites, the clan of the Hebronites, and the clan of the Uzzielites; those were the clans of the Kohathites. All the listed males from the age of one month up came to 8,600, attending to the duties of the sanctuary. The clans of the Kohathites were to camp along the south side of the Tabernacle. The chieftain of the ancestral house of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan son of Uzziel. Their duties comprised: the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, and the sacred utensils that were used with them, and the screen--all the service connected with these. The head chieftain of the Levites was Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, in charge of those attending to the duties of the sanctuary. To Merari belonged the clan of the Mahlites and the clan of the Mushites; those were the clans of Merari. The recorded entries of all their males from the age of one month up came to 6,200. The chieftain of the ancestral house of the clans of Merari was Zuriel son of Abihail. They were to camp along the north side of the Tabernacle. The assigned duties of the Merarites comprised: the planks of the Tabernacle, its bars, posts, and sockets, and all its furnishings--all the service connected with these; also the posts around the enclosure and their sockets, pegs, and cords. Those who were to camp before the Tabernacle, in front--before the Tent of Meeting, on the east--were Moses and Aaron and his sons, attending to the duties of the sanctuary, as a duty on behalf of the Israelites; and any outsider who encroached was to be put to death. All the Levites who were recorded, whom at the Lord's command Moses and Aaron recorded by their clans, all the males from the age of one month up, came to 22,000.
The Lord said to Moses: Record every first-born male of the Israelite people from the age of one month up, and make a list of their names; and take the Levites for Me, the Lord, in place of every first-born among the Israelite people, and the cattle of the Levites in place of every first-born among the cattle of the Israelites. So Moses recorded all the first-born among the Israelites, as the Lord had commanded him. All the first-born males as listed by name, recorded from the age of one month up, came to 22,273. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Take the Levites in place of all the first-born among the Israelite people, and the cattle of the Levites in place of their cattle; and the Levites shall be Mine, the Lord's. And as the redemption price of the 273 Israelite first-born over and above the number of the Levites, take five shekels per head--take this by the sanctuary weight, twenty gerahs to the shekel--and give the money to Aaron and his sons as the redemption price for those who are in excess. So Moses took the redemption money from those over and above the ones redeemed by the Levites; he took the money from the first-born of the Israelites, 1,365 sanctuary shekels. And Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons at the Lord's bidding, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: Take a [separate] census of the Kohathites among the Levites, by the clans of their ancestral house, from the age of thirty years up to the age of fifty, all who are subject to service, to perform tasks for the Tent of Meeting. This is the responsibility of the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting: the most sacred objects. At the breaking of camp, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the screening curtain and cover the Ark of the Pact with it. They shall lay a covering of dolphin skin over it and spread a cloth of pure blue on top; and they shall put its poles in place. Over the table of display they shall spread a blue cloth; they shall place upon it the bowls, the ladles, the jars, and the libation jugs; and the regular bread shall rest upon it. They shall spread over these a crimson cloth which they shall cover with a covering of dolphin skin; and they shall put the poles in place. Then they shall take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand for lighting, with its lamps, its tongs, and its fire pans, as well as all the oil vessels that are used in its service. They shall put it and all its furnishings into a covering of dolphin skin, which they shall then place on a carrying frame. Next they shall spread a blue cloth over the altar of gold and cover it with a covering of dolphin skin; and they shall put its poles in place. They shall take all the service vessels with which the service in the sanctuary is performed, put them into a blue cloth and cover them with a covering of dolphin skin, which they shall then place on a carrying frame. They shall remove the ashes from the [copper] altar and spread a purple cloth over it. Upon it they shall place all the vessels that are used in its service: the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the scrapers, and the basins--all the vessels of the altar--and over it they shall spread a covering of dolphin skin; and they shall put its poles in place. When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sacred objects and all the furnishings of the sacred objects at the breaking of camp, only then shall the Kohathites come and lift them, so that they do not come in contact with the sacred objects and die. These things in the Tent of Meeting shall be the porterage of the Kohathites. Responsibility shall rest with Eleazar son of Aaron the priest for the lighting oil, the aromatic incense, the regular meal offering, and the anointing oil--responsibility for the whole Tabernacle and for everything consecrated that is in it or in its vessels. The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: Do not let the group of Kohathite clans be cut off from the Levites. Do this with them, that they may live and not die when they approach the most sacred objects: let Aaron and his sons go in and assign each of them to his duties and to his porterage. But let not [the Kohathites] go inside and witness the dismantling of the sanctuary, lest they die.

NOTE; We do not believe in a Rapture I believe they have miss labled this part of the dream.....see; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

ORTHODOX JEW IN TEL AVIV, ISRAEL HAS RECURRING DREAM ABOUT THE MESSIAH

By Matt Schwartz

Sing unto the Lord, a new song, Sing unto the  Lord all ye nations (Psalm 96:1)

Our worship team of Spirit-filled saints were lifting up the God of Israel in joyful singing and dancing. We were marching down Diezengorf Street in Tel Aviv and parading with our elegant banners.  Hundreds of Israelis came out from their shops and stores to greet us and to thank us for coming to Israel to show our support for them.  We gave each Israeli a lapel pin which said, "Israel, Your Not Alone."  We told the Jewish people that God loved them. We had many divine appointments with the lost that the Lord drew out from their stores to meet us on the streets.

Moishe and Esther Cohen are Orthodox Jews who survived the Holocaust. They married aboard a refugee ship and arrived in Israel in May of 1948. They own a Sterns jewelry store in Tel Aviv and have many employees. They keep the Sabbath and the traditional Jewish holidays.  When they heard our singing, Moishe ran out from his store to greet us.  "I can't believe the songs you are singing," he said. "These are the same songs, I hear every night in my dreams."

I was amazed hearing this, since we were singing not only Israeli favorites and classics such as Hava Nagila, but spiritual hymns and worship songs such as,  "Our God is an Awesome God,  and other songs we sing in our churches back home. Moishe began to tell us about his recurring dream that he had been having every night for the last three months. "I am awakened by the sound of shofars and trumpets," he said.  "They are so loud that they wake me up in the middle of the night. I run to my front door to see what's happening.  (Thousands of people from the nation of
Israel are going up through the clouds, and they are wearing white robes, and the heavens are parting. ) That is when I see the Heavens opening and the Archangel Gabriel and a mighty army in the sky dressed for battle. Their commander is riding upon a white horse and his eyes are a flame of fire.  Riding behind their Commander are the Jewish patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Behind them are the Godly Jewish women, Miriam, Ruth, Sarah and Queen Esther. "Then I see King David and King Solomon and with them the prophet Elijah and his servant Elisha. They are all alive. Light is shining from them. They are riding horses. This mighty army of the Lord numbers into the tens of thousands. They are ascending from heaven to the Mt. of Olives here in Jerusalem. Their Commander is wearing a Hebrew tallit, which says on it, "King of Kings."  He has fire in His eyes. I suddenly realize I am seeing our Jewish Messiah.

"Lord," I said, "Who are you?"  He replied, calling me by my first name, "Moishe, I am the one the prophets spoke about."  "Do you have a Name?" I asked Him.  They call me "The Champion."   Then He said to me, "Moishe, I died for you. I love you. Tell your Jewish family and your friends about
Me. Tell them I am coming soon. For there will be worship and praise in all Israel just as it was in the days of King David." Then I wake up with the words, "Moishe, I love you. I am coming soon" ringing in my ears.

My wife Esther tells me, "Moishe, go to the rabbis. Tell them about your dream.  I have since met with dozens of Rabbis here in Israel. They all differ in their opinions. Some say, 'There is no  Messiah coming on a white horse. Its only a dream, Moishe. No Army from Heaven will save us from our enemies.  Go home.  Forget your dream.'"

Standing with me that day listening to Moishe  tell us his story were my singers, our dancers, and several pastors and their wives who were part of our five-fold ministry outreach team.

One pastor named Brad said, "Moishe, There is a Champion coming to Israel, and you're right. He will return riding upon a white horse. Listen to what John reveals to us in the Book of Revelation:  'And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, On his head were many crowns (Revelation 19:12)."

Pastor Brad asked Moishe, "Is this the Messiah you saw in your  dream?"

Tears formed in his eyes.  "Yes. It's Him," he said.

"God has given you this dream," I added. "You believe in the same Messiah we believe in.  You just don't know His name.  His name is Jesus. He came the first time to die for the sins of the world. He is coming back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. You can call him by his Hebrew name, Y'shua.  He is alive."

I said, "Do you want to ask Him  to come in your life and be your Lord and Savior?"

"Yes," he  replied.

"I want to pray with you too," said Esther , Moishe's Jewish wife.  "We want to pray with you as well," said Dalya, Svetta and Alona, three of Moishe's staff from his jewelry store.

The five of them prayed with me, "Lord, forgive me, I'm a sinner. I repent of my sins. I accept what you did for me on the Cross.  I give my life to you. I make you my Lord, my Savior, and I accept you as My Messiah."

All five of them suddenly began to weep.  Dayla, who had immigrated to Israel with her Jewish family from Russia, said "Pastor Matt, God has sent you and your singers to Israel - to show us the way to salvation."

Lorna, my dance leader from Ohio said, "Dayla, there is more God has for you.  We then all laid hands on Moishe, Esther, Dayla,  Svetta and Alona and prayed for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues and prophesied as the Spirit gave them the utterance" (Acts 2:4).  It was a glorious moment.

The five of them began to prophecy in the Spirit about things to come. Things that will soon take place in Israel, America, Russia and the nations. We were all listening in awe.  The Lord was confirming His Word with many signs following just as He had done in the Book of Acts.  We are seeing the fulfillment of the words of the prophet Joel: "In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions your sons and daughters shall prophesy (Joel 2:28)."

As a partner with our ministry your support and your giving to Jesus are making it possible for us to tell the untold and reach the unreached with the good news of salvation.  May The Lord give you a year of increase I pray that God may grant you a new season of  advancement and promotion in His Kingdom this year.   May this be for you a year of supernatural increase and favor from the Lord.

Romans 12:1-21

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace,  With a matter of what two weeks we are supposed to be moved in the new place. This man showed up to help someone we have helped off and on for years, is working on the ceiling, but this is a special man as he came back to Wichita to get a heart artery operation done. The work he is doing would not have been done in time as the ceiling needs texture to cover up many flaws. I took him to the doctor yesterday and they wanted him to check in and get the work done yesterday, but he told them that he had something to do first so he put it off till Monday and came back to work. I know it is serious as he is giving me instructions as to if he does not make it...now I am not making him work it is between him and the Lord. You see this place is very important to many people. Yes I do not have all the workers I need as many left because of the river fest and the hope of paying work and of course more people that some can panhandle from. We also have some sleeping outside in the fence, but this has been going on since day one almost. These two were here when we arrived today, on is kicked out of everywhere but our place. Yesterday we had a $1,000 donated I spent over $700 as I picked up paneling to cover sheet rock as I do not have the labor people to sand etc all the rock and we are running out of time. It was only $10 a sheet and we are covering two rooms, it is simpler to clean and looks good. In order to get these things done also in front of the electric people it clearly is the way to go, but I need to raise the rest of the money I said I needed. Today we need to raise at least $500 for a trip to the lumber yard. We are down to the wire so please lift us up in prayer. We are called to do this work are you called to support us? Tonight radio will be broadcast live from here. So tune in at 7 Pm central! Learn about the feasts!  The LORD  bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom. The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai: Speak to the Israelite people and say to them: When you enter the land that I assign to you, the land shall observe a sabbath of the Lord. Six years you may sow your field and six years you may prune your vineyard and gather in the yield. But in the seventh year the land shall have a sabbath of complete rest, a sabbath of the Lord: you shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard. You shall not reap the aftergrowth of your harvest or gather the grapes of your untrimmed vines; it shall be a year of complete rest for the land. But you may eat whatever the land during its sabbath will produce--you, your male and female slaves, the hired and bound laborers who live with you, and your cattle and the beasts in your land may eat all its yield. You shall count off seven weeks of years--seven times seven years--so that the period of seven weeks of years gives you a total of forty-nine years. Then you shall sound the horn loud; in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month--the Day of Atonement--you shall have the horn sounded throughout your land and you shall hallow the fiftieth year. You shall proclaim release throughout the land for all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you: each of you shall return to his holding and each of you shall return to his family. That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you: you shall not sow, neither shall you reap the aftergrowth or harvest the untrimmed vines, for it is a jubilee. It shall be holy to you: you may only eat the growth direct from the field. In this year of jubilee, each of you shall return to his holding. When you sell property to your neighbor, or buy any from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another. In buying from your neighbor, you shall deduct only for the number of years since the jubilee; and in selling to you, he shall charge you only for the remaining crop years: the more such years, the higher the price you pay; the fewer such years, the lower the price; for what he is selling you is a number of harvests. Do not wrong one another, but fear your God; for I the Lord am your God. You shall observe My laws and faithfully keep My rules, that you may live upon the land in security. The land shall yield its fruit and you shall eat your fill, and you shall live upon it in security. And should you ask, "What are we to eat in the seventh year, if we may neither sow nor gather in our crops?" I will ordain My blessing for you in the sixth year, so that it shall yield a crop sufficient for three years. When you sow in the eighth year, you will still be eating old grain of that crop; you will be eating the old until the ninth year, until its crops come in. But the land must not be sold beyond reclaim, for the land is Mine; you are but strangers resident with Me. Throughout the land that you hold, you must provide for the redemption of the land. If your kinsman is in straits and has to sell part of his holding, his nearest redeemer shall come and redeem what his kinsman has sold. If a man has no one to redeem for him, but prospers and acquires enough to redeem with, he shall compute the years since its sale, refund the difference to the man to whom he sold it, and return to his holding. If he lacks sufficient means to recover it, what he sold shall remain with the purchaser until the jubilee; in the jubilee year it shall be released, and he shall return to his holding. If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, it may be redeemed until a year has elapsed since its sale; the redemption period shall be a year. If it is not redeemed before a full year has elapsed, the house in the walled city shall pass to the purchaser beyond reclaim throughout the ages; it shall not be released in the jubilee. But houses in villages that have no encircling walls shall be classed as open country: they may be redeemed, and they shall be released through the jubilee. As for the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities they hold--the Levites shall forever have the right of redemption. Such property as may be redeemed from the Levites--houses sold in a city they hold--shall be released through the jubilee; for the houses in the cities of the Levites are their holding among the Israelites. But the unenclosed land about their cities cannot be sold, for that is their holding for all time.

If your kinsman, being in straits, comes under your authority, and you hold him as though a resident alien, let him live by your side: do not exact from him advance or accrued interest, but fear your God. Let him live by your side as your kinsman. Do not lend him your money at advance interest, or give him your food at accrued interest. I the Lord am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.If your kinsman under you continues in straits and must give himself over to you, do not subject him to the treatment of a slave. He shall remain with you as a hired or bound laborer; he shall serve with you only until the jubilee year. Then he and his children with him shall be free of your authority; he shall go back to his family and return to his ancestral holding. For they are My servants, whom I freed from the land of Egypt; they may not give themselves over into servitude. You shall not rule over him ruthlessly; you shall fear your God. Such male and female slaves as you may have--it is from the nations round about you that you may acquire male and female slaves. You may also buy them from among the children of aliens resident among you, or from their families that are among you, whom they begot in your land. These shall become your property: you may keep them as a possession for your children after you, for them to inherit as property for all time. Such you may treat as slaves. But as for your Israelite kinsmen, no one shall rule ruthlessly over the other.
If a resident alien among you has prospered, and your kinsman being in straits, comes under his authority and gives himself over to the resident alien among you, or to an offshoot of an alien's family, he shall have the right of redemption even after he has given himself over. One of his kinsmen shall redeem him, or his uncle or his uncle's son shall redeem him, or anyone of his family who is of his own flesh shall redeem him; or, if he prospers, he may redeem himself. He shall compute with his purchaser the total from the year he gave himself over to him until the jubilee year; the price of his sale shall be applied to the number of years, as though it were for a term as a hired laborer under the other's authority. If many years remain, he shall pay back for his redemption in proportion to his purchase price; and if few years remain until the jubilee year, he shall so compute: he shall make payment for his redemption according to the years involved. He shall be under his authority as a laborer hired by the year; he shall not rule ruthlessly over him in your sight. If he has not been redeemed in any of those ways, he and his children with him shall go free in the jubilee year. For it is to Me that the Israelites are servants: they are My servants, whom I freed from the land of Egypt, I the Lord your God.You shall not make idols for yourselves, or set up for yourselves carved images or pillars, or place figured stones in your land to worship upon, for I the Lord am your God. You shall keep My sabbaths and venerate My sanctuary, Mine, the Lord's.If you follow My laws and faithfully observe My commandments, I will grant your rains in their season, so that the earth shall yield its produce and the trees of the field their fruit. Your threshing shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake the sowing; you shall eat your fill of bread and dwell securely in your land. I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down untroubled by anyone; I will give the land respite from vicious beasts, and no sword shall cross your land. You shall give chase to your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. Five of you shall give chase to a hundred, and a hundred of you shall give chase to ten thousand; your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

I will look with favor upon you, and make you fertile and multiply you; and I will maintain My covenant with you.You shall eat old grain long stored, and you shall have to clear out the old to make room for the new. I will establish My abode in your midst, and I will not spurn you. I will be ever present in your midst: I will be your God, and you shall be My people. I the Lord am your God who brought you out from the land of the Egyptians to be their slaves no more, who broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect. But if you do not obey Me and do not observe all these commandments, if you reject My laws and spurn My rules, so that you do not observe all My commandments and you break My covenant, I in turn will do this to you: I will wreak misery upon you--consumption and fever, which cause the eyes to pine and the body to languish; you shall sow your seed to no purpose, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set My face against you: you shall be routed by your enemies, and your foes shall dominate you. You shall flee though none pursues. And if, for all that, you do not obey Me, I will go on to discipline you sevenfold for your sins, and I will break your proud glory. I will make your skies like iron and your earth like copper, so that your strength shall be spent to no purpose. Your land shall not yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield their fruit. And if you remain hostile toward Me and refuse to obey Me, I will go on smiting you sevenfold for your sins. I will loose wild beasts against you, and they shall bereave you of your children and wipe out your cattle. They shall decimate you, and your roads shall be deserted. And if these things fail to discipline you for Me, and you remain hostile to Me, I too will remain hostile to you: I in turn will smite you sevenfold for your sins. I will bring a sword against you to wreak vengeance for the covenant; and if you withdraw into your cities, I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be delivered into enemy hands. When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in a single oven; they shall dole out your bread by weight, and though you eat, you shall not be satisfied. But if, despite this, you disobey Me and remain hostile to Me, I will act against you in wrathful hostility; I, for My part, will discipline you sevenfold for your sins. You shall eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters. I will destroy your cult places and cut down your incense stands, and I will heap your carcasses upon your lifeless fetishes. I will spurn you. I will lay your cities in ruin and make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not savor your pleasing odors. I will make the land desolate, so that your enemies who settle in it shall be appalled by it. And you I will scatter among the nations, and I will unsheath the sword against you. Your land shall become a desolation and your cities a ruin.

Then shall the land make up for its sabbath years throughout the time that it is desolate and you are in the land of your enemies; then shall the land rest and make up for its sabbath years. Throughout the time that it is desolate, it shall observe the rest that it did not observe in your sabbath years while you were dwelling upon it. As for those of you who survive, I will cast a faintness into their hearts in the land of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf shall put them to flight. Fleeing as though from the sword, they shall fall though none pursues. With no one pursuing, they shall stumble over one another as before the sword. You shall not be able to stand your ground before your enemies, but shall perish among the nations; and the land of your enemies shall consume you. Those of you who survive shall be heartsick over their iniquity in the land of your enemies; more, they shall be heartsick over the iniquities of their fathers; and they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in that they trespassed against Me, yea, were hostile to Me. When I, in turn, have been hostile to them and have removed them into the land of their enemies, then at last shall their obdurate heart humble itself, and they shall atone for their iniquity. Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob; I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land. For the land shall be forsaken of them, making up for its sabbath years by being desolate of them, while they atone for their iniquity; for the abundant reason that they rejected My rules and spurned My laws. Yet, even then, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or spurn them so as to destroy them, annulling My covenant with them: for I the Lord am their God. I will remember in their favor the covenant with the ancients, whom I freed from the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God: I, the Lord. These are the laws, rules, and instructions that the Lord established, through Moses on Mount Sinai, between Himself and the Israelite people. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to the Israelite people and say to them: When anyone explicitly vows to the Lord the equivalent for a human being, the following scale shall apply: If it is a male from twenty to sixty years of age, the equivalent is fifty shekels of silver by the sanctuary weight; if it is a female, the equivalent is thirty shekels. If the age is from five years to twenty years, the equivalent is twenty shekels for a male and ten shekels for a female. If the age is from one month to five years, the equivalent for a male is five shekels of silver, and the equivalent for a female is three shekels of silver. If the age is sixty years or over, the equivalent is fifteen shekels in the case of a male and ten shekels for a female. But if one cannot afford the equivalent, he shall be presented before the priest, and the priest shall assess him; the priest shall assess him according to what the vower can afford.

If [the vow concerns] any animal that may be brought as an offering to the Lord, any such that may be given to the Lord shall be holy. One may not exchange or substitute another for it, either good for bad, or bad for good; if one does substitute one animal for another, the thing vowed and its substitute shall both be holy. If [the vow concerns] any unclean animal that may not be brought as an offering to the Lord, the animal shall be presented before the priest, and the priest shall assess it. Whether high or low, whatever assessment is set by the priest shall stand; and if he wishes to redeem it, he must add one-fifth to its assessment. If anyone consecrates his house to the Lord, the priest shall assess it. Whether high or low, as the priest assesses it, so it shall stand; and if he who has consecrated his house wishes to redeem it, he must add one-fifth to the sum at which it was assessed, and it shall be his.If anyone consecrates to the Lord any land that he holds, its assessment shall be in accordance with its seed requirement: fifty shekels of silver to a homer of barley seed. If he consecrates his land as of the jubilee year, its assessment stands. But if he consecrates his land after the jubilee, the priest shall compute the price according to the years that are left until the jubilee year, and its assessment shall be so reduced; and if he who consecrated the land wishes to redeem it, he must add one-fifth to the sum at which it was assessed, and it shall pass to him. But if he does not redeem the land, and the land is sold to another, it shall no longer be redeemable: when it is released in the jubilee, the land shall be holy to the Lord, as land proscribed; it becomes the priest's holding. If he consecrates to the Lord land that he purchased, which is not land of his holding, the priest shall compute for him the proportionate assessment up to the jubilee year, and he shall pay the assessment as of that day, a sacred donation to the Lord. In the jubilee year the land shall revert to him from whom it was bought, whose holding the land is. All assessments shall be by the sanctuary weight, the shekel being twenty gerahs. A firstling of animals, however, which--as a firstling--is the Lord's, cannot be consecrated by anybody; whether ox or sheep, it is the Lord's. But if it is of unclean animals, it may be ransomed as its assessment, with one-fifth added; if it is not redeemed, it shall be sold at its assessment. But of all that anyone owns, be it man or beast or land of his holding, nothing that he has proscribed for the Lord may be sold or redeemed; every proscribed thing is totally consecrated to the Lord. No human being who has been proscribed can be ransomed: he shall be put to death. All tithes from the land, whether seed from the ground or fruit from the tree, are the Lord's; they are holy to the Lord. If anyone wishes to redeem any of his tithes, he must add one-fifth to them. All tithes of the herd or flock--of all that passes under the shepherd's staff, every tenth one--shall be holy to the Lord. He must not look out for good as against bad, or make substitution for it. If he does make substitution for it, then it and its substitute shall both be holy: it cannot be redeemed. These are the commandments that the Lord gave Moses for the Israelite people on Mount Sinai.

The Dart Game

A young lady named Sally, relates an experience she had in a seminary class, given by her teacher, Dr. Smith. She says Dr. Smith was known for his elaborate object lessons. One particular day, Sally walked into the seminary and knew they were in for a fun day.  On the wall was a big  target and on a nearby  table were many darts. Dr. Smith told the students to draw a picture of someone that they disliked or someone who had made them angry, and he would allow them to throw darts at the person's picture.  Sally's girlfriend drew a picture of a girl who had stolen her boyfriend. Another friend drew a picture of his little brother. Sally drew a picture of a former friend, putting a great deal of detail into her drawing, even drawing pimples on the face. Sally was pleased at the overall effect she had achieved. The class lined up and began throwing darts, with much laughter and
hilarity. Some of the students threw their darts with such force that their targets were ripping apart. Sally looked forward to her turn, and was filled with disappointment when Dr. Smith, because of time limits, asked the students to return to their seats. As Sally sat thinking about how angry she was because she didn't have a chance to throw any darts at her target, Dr. Smith began removing the target from the wall. Underneath the target was a picture of Jesus. A hush fell over the room as each student viewed the mangled picture of Jesus; holes and jagged marks covered His face and His eyes were pierced. Dr. Smith said only these words, "In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren,
ye have done it unto Me." Matthew 25:40.

No other words were necessary. The tear-filled eyes of each student focused
only on the picture of Christ.
