 Gospel Matthew 5:33-37

These are the rules that you shall set before them: When you acquire a Hebrew slave, he shall serve six years; in the seventh year he shall go free, without payment. If he came single, he shall leave single; if he had a wife, his wife shall leave with him. If his master gave him a wife, and she has borne him children, the wife and her children shall belong to the master, and he shall leave alone. But if the slave declares, "I love my master, and my wife and children: I do not wish to go free," his master shall take him before God. He shall be brought to the door or the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall then remain his slave for life. When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she shall not be freed as male slaves are. If she proves to be displeasing to her master, who designated her for himself, he must let her be redeemed; he shall not have the right to sell her to outsiders, since he broke faith with her. And if he designated her for his son, he shall deal with her as is the practice with free maidens. If he marries another, he must not withhold from this one her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights. If he fails her in these three ways, she shall go free, without payment.

He who fatally strikes a man shall be put to death. If he did not do it by design, but it came about by an act of God, I will assign you a place to which he can flee. When a man schemes against another and kills him treacherously, you shall take him from My very altar to be put to death. He who strikes his father or his mother shall be put to death. He who kidnaps a man--whether he has sold him or is still holding him--shall be put to death. He who insults his father or his mother shall be put to death. When men quarrel and one strikes the other with stone or fist, and he does not die but has to take to his bed--if he then gets up and walks outdoors upon his staff, the assailant shall go unpunished, except that he must pay for his idleness and his cure.

When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod, and he dies there and then, he must be avenged. But if he survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, since he is the other's property. When men fight, and one of them pushes a pregnant woman and a miscarriage results, but no other damage ensues, the one responsible shall be fined according as the woman's husband may exact from him, the payment to be based on reckoning. But if other damage ensues, the penalty shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise. When a man strikes the eye of his slave, male or female, and destroys it, he shall let him go free on account of his eye. If he knocks out the tooth of his slave, male or female, he shall let him go free on account of his tooth.

When an ox gores a man or a woman to death, the ox shall be stoned and its flesh shall not be eaten, but the owner of the ox is not to be punished. If, however, that ox has been in the habit of goring, and its owner, though warned, has failed to guard it, and it kills a man or a woman--the ox shall be stoned and its owner, too, shall be put to death. If ransom is laid upon him, he must pay whatever is laid upon him to redeem his life. So, too, if it gores a minor, male or female, [the owner] shall be dealt with according to the same rule. But if the ox gores a slave, male or female, he shall pay thirty shekels of silver to the master, and the ox shall be stoned. When a man opens a pit, or digs a pit and does not cover it, and an ox or an ass falls into it, the one responsible for the pit must make restitution; he shall pay the price to the owner, but shall keep the dead animal. When a man's ox injures his neighbor's ox and it dies, they shall sell the live ox and divide its price; they shall also divide the dead animal. If, however, it is known that the ox was in the habit of goring, and its owner has failed to guard it, he must restore ox for ox, but shall keep the dead animal. When a man steals an ox or a sheep, and slaughters it or sells it, he shall pay five oxen for the ox, and four sheep for the sheep.

If the thief is seized while tunneling, and he is beaten to death, there is no bloodguilt in his case. If the sun has risen on him, there is bloodguilt in that case. He must make restitution; if he lacks the means, he shall be sold for his theft. But if what he stole--whether ox or ass or sheep--is found alive in his possession, he shall pay double.

When a man lets his livestock loose to graze in another's land, and so allows a field or a vineyard to be grazed bare, he must make restitution for the impairment of that field or vineyard. When a fire is started and spreads to thorns, so that stacked, standing, or growing grain is consumed, he who started the fire must make restitution. When a man gives money or goods to another for safekeeping, and they are stolen from the man's house--if the thief is caught, he shall pay double; if the thief is not caught, the owner of the house shall depose before God that he has not laid hands on the other's property. In all charges of misappropriation--pertaining to an ox, an ass, a sheep, a garment, or any other loss, whereof one party alleges, "This is it"--the case of both parties shall come before God: he whom God declares guilty shall pay double to the other.

When a man gives to another an ass, an ox, a sheep or any other animal to guard, and it dies or is injured or is carried off, with no witness about, an oath before the Lord shall decide between the two of them that the one has not laid hands on the property of the other; the owner must acquiesce, and no restitution shall be made. But if [the animal] was stolen from him, he shall make restitution to its owner. If it was torn by beasts, he shall bring it as evidence; he need not replace what has been torn by beasts. When a man borrows [an animal] from another and it dies or is injured, its owner not being with it, he must make restitution. If its owner was with it, no restitution need be made; but if it was hired, he is entitled to the hire. If a man seduces a virgin for whom the bride-price has not been paid, and lies with her, he must make her his wife by payment of a bride-price. If her father refuses to give her to him, he must still weigh out silver in accordance with the bride-price for virgins. You shall not tolerate a sorceress. Whoever lies with a beast shall be put to death. Whoever sacrifices to a god other than the Lord alone shall be proscribed. You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him, for you were strangers in the
land of Egypt. You shall not ill-treat any widow or orphan. If you do mistreat them, I will heed their outcry as soon as they cry out to Me, and My anger shall blaze forth and I will put you to the sword, and your own wives shall become widows and your children orphans. If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, do not act toward them as a creditor; exact no interest from them. If you take your neighbor's garment in pledge, you must return it to him before the sun sets.

You shall not subvert the rights of your needy in their disputes. Keep far from a false charge; do not bring death on those who are innocent and in the right, for I will not acquit the wrongdoer. Do not take bribes, for bribes blind the clear-sighted and upset the pleas of those who are in the right. You shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the feelings of the stranger, having yourselves been strangers in the land of Egypt.

Six years you shall sow your land and gather in its yield; but in the seventh you shall let it rest and lie fallow. Let the needy among your people eat of it, and what they leave let the wild beasts eat. You shall do the same with your vineyards and your olive groves. Six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor, in order that your ox and your ass may rest, and that your bondman and the stranger may be refreshed.

Be on guard concerning all that I have told you. Make no mention of the names of other gods; they shall not be heard on your lips. Three times a year you shall hold a festival for Me: You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread--eating unleavened bread for seven days as I have commanded you--at the set time in the month of Abib, for in it you went forth from Egypt; and none shall appear before Me empty-handed; and the Feast of the Harvest, of the first fruits of your work, of what you sow in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in the results of your work from the field. Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Sovereign, the Lord.
You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with anything leavened; and the fat of My festal offering shall not be left lying until morning. The choice first fruits of your soil you shall bring to the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

I am sending an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have made ready. Pay heed to him and obey him. Do not defy him, for he will not pardon your offenses, since My Name is in him; but if you obey him and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes. When My angel goes before you and brings you to the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and I annihilate them, you shall not bow down to their gods in worship or follow their practices, but shall tear them down and smash their pillars to bits. 25 You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will remove sickness from your midst. No woman in your land shall miscarry or be barren. I will let you enjoy the full count of your days.

I will send forth My terror before you, and I will throw into panic all the people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn tail before you. I will send a plague ahead of you, and it shall drive out before you the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites. I will not drive them out before you in a single year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply to your hurt. I will drive them out before you little by little, until you have increased and possess the land. I will set your borders from the
Sea of Reeds to the Sea of Philistia, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates
; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hands, and you will drive them out before you. You shall make no covenant with them and their gods. They shall not remain in your land, lest they cause you to sin against Me; for you will serve their gods--and it will prove a snare to you.

Then He said to Moses, "Come up to the Lord, with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy elders of
Israel, and bow low from afar. Moses alone shall come near the Lord; but the others shall not come near, nor shall the people come up with him." Moses went and repeated to the people all the commands of the Lord and all the rules; and all the people answered with one voice, saying, "All the things that the Lord has commanded we will do!" Moses then wrote down all the commands of the Lord. Early in the morning, he set up an altar at the foot of the mountain, with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel
. He designated some young men among the Israelites, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed bulls as offerings of well-being to the Lord. Moses took one part of the blood and put it in basins, and the other part of the blood he dashed against the altar. Then he took the record of the covenant and read it aloud to the people. And they said, "All that the Lord has spoken we will faithfully do!" Moses took the blood and dashed it on the people and said, "This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord now makes with you concerning all these commands."

Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy elders of
Israel ascended; and they saw the God of Israel: under His feet there was the likeness of a pavement of sapphire, like the very sky for purity. Yet He did not raise His hand against the leaders of the Israelites; they beheld God, and they ate and drank. The Lord said to Moses, "Come up to Me on the mountain and wait there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the teachings and commandments which I have inscribed to instruct them." So Moses and his attendant Joshua arose, and Moses ascended the mountain of God. To the elders he had said, "Wait here for us until we return to you. You have Aaron and Hur with you; let anyone who has a legal matter approach them." When Moses had ascended the mountain, the cloud covered the mountain. The Presence of the Lord abode on Mount Sinai, and the cloud hid it for six days. On the seventh day He called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. Now the Presence of the Lord appeared in the sight of the Israelites as a consuming fire on the top of the mountain. Moses went inside the cloud and ascended the mountain; and Moses remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Remember to read your KJV Bible also

Mission updates: 2 Corinthians 8:9  9For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,  that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Messiah Lived as a man with no home, he lived among the poor and the sinners , so how much more of a worthy cause is it to try and be a light to them and bring His love to them?

Luke 19:8 8And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

We come seeking the lost as Messiah did

Luke 18:18 18And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25For it is easier for a camel to go through a needles eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? 27And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. 28Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. 29And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of Gods sake, 30Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Please help us be good neighbors and build this fence.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, Well yesterday we had many, as it was very cold out. They wanted razors to shave with and I did not have any, so I gave out some stocking hats I got on sale at the dollar store for 50 cents a piece. Some needed pain medications and I had a few. Later on the way home I spent a little under $30 buying medications for Friday. Mom made them homemade chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes and some veggies. I was asked over and over when we are going to start on the building. I have found I have sheet rockers, plumbers, labor people, painters, you name it ready to help remodel the place. Friday we get the keys and as of right now I have $940 in the building account. Here is what we need very badly.  Money to pay liability Insurance for a year, cost $500-$600 ,

$500 needed when we move in April 1st basically the rest of the down payment

$1000 for the fence ( Number one need, we need to not be so visible from neighbors, remember neighbors have always hassled us and finally got us kicked out ) Money for paint , Money for sheet rock etc. Things for the kitchen we have to build.  My low guess is we need $5000 total for all this.  But saints we do really need it, it is not a want but a very great need. We have to have the work done before April 1st when we have to move out of the other place. I was told by the guys that we would more than likely double in the number we help. We are praying that we will be able to bring the Light of Yeshua to this neighborhood, we seek to do what Messiah did, as we are suppose to be Messiah like!

Luke 4:18 18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

So tonight I ask for your prayers that this email will touch those that could help raise these funds. Time is very short as we must Start work as early as this Sunday! So if you know someone who might be able to help? It is worthwhile.  You know what bothers me is that this is for Wichita and to better Wichita. But are people from Wichita coming forward and offering help? No of course not. They are the people who should be offering to help. It also bothers me that some people on this list over the years have talked about helping when we got a new place, but they seem nowhere to be found now. In fact donations have dropped since we found a building. Why is that? We are not trying to make a fancy place just a place that is there for the poor. We are a storehouse of Yahweh. We are doing the work really that all men should do, let alone those right in their own neighborhood..Wichita. To so many $5000 is nothing. You know who is doing most of the donating? The Poorso many go, well I will see they are people of Faith so Yahweh will provide for them, without even seeking if you are the one Yahweh wishes to use to provide as he does use human beings to do so, those that listen to him....We are moving about 4 blocks from a Church that has a cross that reaches so far into sky it can be seen by so many in Wichita, the Church has indoor tennis courts, indoor pools, and a indoor bowling allie but the neighborhood still hurts badly. The poor are still there and the sinners have not heard the gospel....do they not know that the Kingdom of Yahweh was promised to the poor?

Luke 6:20  20And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

You know I get some that say, I will help when I get done with this or that, what if Yahweh told you when you prayed to him, "Wait! I will help you when I get done with this or that?" It is His work you are helping saints. And I am not speaking of two people one a ministry the other a man with a family, who both will help in a big way. In fact pray that the money comes that these two need, and this work will betaken care of. Lift them up in prayer for their hearts and not just because they will help us. Theyre deserving even if they did not help! You know I am curious if others have felt this? As of late I feel great darkness is coming down on this planet. Yes, there is already much evil but I have noticed evil attacks against those who really are of Yahweh and the people that support them and their families. Its like right now Satan is trying to stop the light! He seems very angry. Let me know please is you feel this..or of something evil has befell you as of late. The LORD  bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee,

and give thee shalom. (peace) Bemidbar (Numbers)  6:24-26 In Yeshua's Name,

Bro. Dan, Pastor of Messiah's Branch

1 Samuel 26:23 - The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed.

Shalom in Yeshua our Messiah, Friday we had some visitors from Missouri stop by the Mission they came to hear Brad Scott speak and they brought us a car (A Lexus)with the trunk full of coats, sweaters & toiletries. The car is absolutely beautiful, like I told them " this is the nicest car I have ever owned". It runs great and gets 26 miles to a gallon. I drove it home Saturday after the meeting then back on Sunday and it only cost 25 to fill the tank. The back seats fold down so you have access to the trunk. It has a "moon roof" we called them "sun roof's" when I was growing up. It's nice I really love it, Yahweh really Blessed me with this one, it's Great. I'm going after my grandsons for a few day's tomorrow. It cruses right on down the highway and rides so nice-n- comfy. THANK YOU FATHER for such a wonderful Blessing, Please Bless those whom you used to give it. I want to thank those who Blessed me again for my new car I TRULY LOVE IT I AM BLESSED THANKS.

OK Back to the Mission, Lynda made six dozen egg-lunchmeat & cheese sandwiches and twelve grilled cheese. I gave out chips and cheese sauce, cheese crackers, and twenty bowls of left over goulash. I set out sixteen trays of sweets and had one tray of cinnimon rasin muffins an a few loafs of bread. I made beef & pasta, mashed potatoes, mixed buttered green beans, carrots, corn & onions, buttered rolls and peaches for dinner. The newsletter went out Friday so most of you will have it by Wednesday. I paid four weeks radio and a few bills I believe there are about seven left to pay. I put 188.00 into the food account however the other accounts are low. We get the keys to the new building @ 900 South Broadway this coming Friday 16th an plan on going over on Saturday at the close of Shabbat to start figuring out materials to repair and remodel. Please pray about helping these works Yahweh needs His people to supply the needs for His people. We love you and Thank you for your Love, Prayers and support. Keep us in prayer Shalom More on the Mission Next Update:  sisterlinda/ Messiah's Branch

Shalom BShem Yeshua HaMashiach  / Peace in the Name of Yeshua, the Messiah   Mark 9:23, 10:27

Carl was a quiet man.

He didn't talk much.  He would always greet you with a big smile and a firm handshake.  Even after living in our neighborhood for over 50 years, no one could really say they knew him very well. Before his retirement, he took the bus to work each morning. The sight of him walking down the street often worried us.He had a slight limp from a bullet wound received in WWII.

Watching him, we worried that although he had survived WWII, he may not make it through our changing uptown neighborhood with its ever-increasing random violence, gangs, and drug activity. When he saw the flyer at our local church asking for volunteers for caring for the gardens behind the minister's residence,he responded in his characteristically un-assuming manner.

Without fanfare, he just signed up.  He was well into his 87th year when the very thing we had always feared finally happened. He was just finishing his watering for the day when three gang
members approached him.  Ignoring their attempt to intimidate him, he simply asked, "Would you like a drink from the hose? The tallest and toughest-looking of the three said,"Yeah, sure", with a malevolent little smile. As Carl offered the hose to him, the other two grabbed Carl's arm, throwing him down.  As the hose snaked crazily over the ground, dousing everything in its way, Carl's assailants stole his retirement watch and his wallet, and then fled.

Carl tried to get himself up, but he had been thrown down on his bad leg.  He lay there trying to gather himself as the minister came running to help him.  Although the minister had witnessed
the attack from his window, he couldn't get there fast enough to stop it. "Carl, are you okay?  Are you hurt?" the minister kept asking as he helped Carl to his feet.  Carl just passed a hand over his brow and sighed, shaking his head. "Just some punk kids.  I hope they'll wise-up someday."

His wet clothes clung to his slight frame as he bent to pick up the hose.  He adjusted the nozzle again and started to water.Confused and a little concerned, the minister asked, "Carl, what
are you doing?  "I've got to finish my watering. It's been very dry lately," came the calm reply. Satisfying himself that Carl really was all right, the minister could only marvel.  Carl was a man from a different time and place. A few weeks later the three returned.  Just as before their threat was unchallenged.  Carl again offered them a drink from his hose.  This time they didn't rob him.

They wrenched the hose from his hand and drenched him head to foot in the icy water.  When they had finished their humiliation of him, they sauntered off down the street, throwing catcalls
and curses, falling over one another laughing at the hilarity of what they had just done.  Carl just watched them. Then he turned toward the warm giving sun, picked up his hose, and went on with his watering.  The summer was quickly fading into fall.  Carl was doing some tilling when he was startled by the sudden approach of someone behind him.  He stumbled and fell into some evergreen branches. As he struggled to regain his footing, he turned to see the tall leader of his summer tormentors reaching down for him.  He braced himself for the expected attack. "Don't worry old man, I'm not gonna hurt you this time." The young man spoke softly, still offering the tattooed and scarred hand to Carl.  As he helped Carl get up, the man pulled a crumpled bag from his pocket and handed it to Carl. "What's this?" Carl asked. "It's your stuff,"  the man explained. "It's your stuff back. Even the money in your wallet." "I don't understand," Carl said. "Why would you help me now?" The man shifted his feet, seeming embarrassed and ill at ease.
"I learned something from you," he said.  "I ran with that gang and hurt people like you.  We picked you because you were old and we knew we could do it.  But every time we came and did
something to you instead of yelling and fighting back, you tried to give us a drink.  You didn't hate us for hating you.  You kept showing love against our hate." He stopped for a moment. "I couldn't sleep after we stole your stuff, so here it is back." He paused for another awkward moment, not knowing what more there was to say.  "That bag's my way of saying thanks for
straightening me out, I guess."  And with that, he walked off down the street.Carl looked down at the sack in his hands and gingerly opened it.  He took out his retirement watch and put it back on his wrist.  Opening his wallet, he checked for his wedding photo. He gazed for a moment at the young bride that still smiled back at him from all those years ago. He died one cold day that winter.  Many people attended his funeral in spite of the weather.  In particular the minister noticed a tall young man that he didn't know sitting quietly in a distant corner of the church.

The minister spoke of Carl's garden as a lesson in life. In a voice made thick with unshed tears, he said, "Do your best and make your garden as beautiful as you can.  We will never forget Carl and his garden." The following spring another flyer went up. It read: "Person needed to care for Carl's garden." The flyer went unnoticed by the busy parishioners until one day when a knock was heard at the minister's office door. Opening the door, the minister saw a pair of scarred and
tattooed hands holding the flyer.  "I believe this is my job, if you'll have me," the young man
said.  The minister recognized him as the same young man who had returned the stolen watch and wallet to Carl. He knew that Carl's kindness had turned this man's life around. As the minister handed him the keys to the garden shed, he said,"Yes, go take care of Carl's garden and honor him." The man went to work and, over the next several years, he tended the flowers and vegetables just as Carl had done. In that time, he went to college, got married, and became a
prominent member of the community.  But he never forgot his promise to Carl's memory and kept the garden as beautiful as he thought Carl would have kept it. One day he approached the new minister and told him that he couldn't care for the garden any longer. He explained with a shy and happy smile, "My wife just had a baby boy last night, and she's bringing him home on Saturday. "Well, congratulations!" said the minister, as he was handed the garden shed keys. "That's wonderful!  What's the baby's name?"  "Carl," he replied.

Prison Weekly Shabbat Shevat 22

This Weeks Torah Yitro "Jethro" Exodus 18:1-20:23

Haftarah Isaiah 6:1-7:6, 9:5-6,Gospel Matthew 5:17-32

Jethro priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had brought Israel out from Egypt. So Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after she had been sent home, and her two sons--of whom one was named Gershom, that is to say, "I have been a stranger in a foreign land"; and the other was named Eliezer, meaning, "The God of my father was my help, and He delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh." Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, brought Moses' sons and wife to him in the wilderness, where he was encamped at the mountain of God. He sent word to Moses, "I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you, with your wife and her two sons." Moses went out to meet his father-in-law; he bowed low and kissed him; each asked after the other's welfare, and they went into the tent. Moses then recounted to his father-in-law everything that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardships that had befallen them on the way, and how the Lord had delivered them. And Jethro rejoiced over all the kindness that the Lord had shown Israel when He delivered them from the Egyptians. "Blessed be the Lord," Jethro said, "who delivered you from the Egyptians and from Pharaoh, and who delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians. Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods, yes, by the result of their very schemes against [the people]." And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and sacrifices for God; and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to partake of the meal before God with Moses' father-in-law.

Next day, Moses sat as magistrate among the people, while the people stood about Moses from morning until evening. But when Moses' father-in-law saw how much he had to do for the people, he said, "What is this thing that you are doing to the people? Why do you act alone, while all the people stand about you from morning until evening?" Moses replied to his father-in-law, "It is because the people come to me to inquire of God. When they have a dispute, it comes before me, and I decide between one person and another, and I make known the laws and teachings of God." But Moses' father-in-law said to him, "The thing you are doing is not right; you will surely wear yourself out, and these people as well. For the task is too heavy for you; you cannot do it alone. Now listen to me. I will give you counsel, and God be with you! You represent the people before God: you bring the disputes before God, and enjoin upon them the laws and the teachings, and make known to them the way they are to go and the practices they are to follow. You shall also seek out from among all the people capable men who fear God, trustworthy men who spurn ill-gotten gain. Set these over them as chiefs of thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens, and let them judge the people at all times. Have them bring every major dispute to you, but let them decide every minor dispute themselves. Make it easier for yourself by letting them share the burden with you. If you do this--and God so commands you--you will be able to bear up; and all these people too will go home unwearied."

Moses heeded his father-in-law and did just as he had said. Moses chose capable men out of all Israel, and appointed them heads over the people--chiefs of thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens; and they judged the people at all times: the difficult matters they would bring to Moses, and all the minor matters they would decide themselves. Then Moses bade his father-in-law farewell, and he went his way to his own land.On the third new moon after the Israelites had gone forth from the land of Egypt, on that very day, they entered the wilderness of Sinai. Having journeyed from Rephidim, they entered the wilderness of Sinai and encamped in the wilderness. Israel encamped there in front of the mountain, and Moses went up to God. The Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, "Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob and declare to the children of Israel: 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Me. Now then, if you will obey Me faithfully and keep My covenant, you shall be My treasured possession among all the peoples. Indeed, all the earth is Mine, but you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel."

Moses came and summoned the elders of the people and put before them all that the Lord had commanded him. All the people answered as one, saying, "All that the Lord has spoken we will do!" And Moses brought back the people's words to the Lord. And the Lord said to Moses, "I will come to you in a thick cloud, in order that the people may hear when I speak with you and so trust you ever after." Then Moses reported the people's words to the Lord, and the Lord said to Moses, "Go to the people and warn them to stay pure today and tomorrow. Let them wash their clothes. Let them be ready for the third day; for on the third day the Lord will come down, in the sight of all the people, on Mount Sinai. You shall set bounds for the people round about, saying, 'Beware of going up the mountain or touching the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall be put to death: no hand shall touch him, but he shall be either stoned or shot; beast or man, he shall not live.' When the ram's horn sounds a long blast, they may go up on the mountain." Moses came down from the mountain to the people and warned the people to stay pure, and they washed their clothes. And he said to the people, "Be ready for the third day: do not go near a woman." On the third day, as morning dawned, there was thunder, and lightning, and a dense cloud upon the mountain, and a very loud blast of the horn; and all the people who were in the camp trembled. Moses led the people out of the camp toward God, and they took their places at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke, for the Lord had come down upon it in fire; the smoke rose like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled violently. The blare of the horn grew louder and louder. As Moses spoke, God answered him in thunder.

The Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain, and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain and Moses went up. The Lord said to Moses, "Go down, warn the people not to break through to the Lord to gaze, lest many of them perish. The priests also, who come near the Lord, must stay pure, lest the Lord break out against them." But Moses said to the Lord, "The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us saying, 'Set bounds about the mountain and sanctify it.'" So the Lord said to him, "Go down, and come back together with Aaron; but let not the priests or the people break through to come up to the Lord, lest He break out against them." And Moses went down to the people and spoke to them. God spoke all these words, saying:

I the Lord am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage: You shall have no other gods besides Me. You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I the Lord your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me, but showing kindness to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments. You shall not swear falsely by the name of the Lord your God; for the Lord will not clear one who swears falsely by His name. Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God: you shall not do any work--you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, or your cattle, or the stranger who is within your settlements. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth and sea, and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it. Honor your father and your mother, that you may long endure on the land that the Lord your God is assigning to you.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's house: you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female slave, or his ox or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor's. All the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the blare of the horn and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they fell back and stood at a distance. "You speak to us," they said to Moses, "and we will obey; but let not God speak to us, lest we die." Moses answered the people, "Be not afraid; for God has come only in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may be ever with you, so that you do not go astray." So the people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick cloud where God was. The Lord said to Moses:Thus shall you say to the Israelites: You yourselves saw that I spoke to you from the very heavens: With Me, therefore, you shall not make any gods of silver, nor shall you make for yourselves any gods of gold.

Mission Updates: Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, You know I was greatly touched by a donation I received for radio air-time. It read Can't afford to donate this but God told me to. It was a $120 donation for air-time. One area that not many donations come to, but radio does generate over half the donations needed for the work with the homeless and poor. Yes radio could increase with more interviews and reports weekly but the studio still suffers and we are even down one computer. Air time does cost it is not free. This also makes me wonder about other people that have said God told me to support your ministry but the donation never comes. Well that is between them and the Lord. Yes this email is all about the ministry needs and directions we are going, or at least trying to.

The Reason we were evicted; The reason we were evicted from our old place is because people neighbors just do not like the homeless. Complaints from neighbors got us evicted according to the landlord. We have less than two months to get the other place ready and we just do not have the funds. We need to build a fence so we can be good neighbors, the cost I found cheapest if we build it ourselves is just under $1000, I have the estimate at $900 something but just not in front of me.

On move in date April 1st we need $500 for the monthly payment and $500 for another deposit. That $500 will be refunded or go towards the purchase at the end. So there is another $1000. So that brings up what we need to $2000. We must replace carpet I have not priced yet and will be unable until the 15th of Feb. We may just try and tile the whole place. And we must paint the inside and outside. So I am guessing we need to raise another $3000 for that so there maybe $5000. We have received from people sending donations $800. And they came in small donations mostly, $50, $14, etc. people would mostly I think really could not afford much. Also I will have to have extra gas money to make more trips back and forth. I would just go over and stay but I have no computer there. This is one reason I desperatly need a laptop. If I stay in Wihcita to do the Work the minsitry suffers because I have to be on the computer daily. So this is for others please consider donating something? Any donation will add up. I know some of you own your own businesses and are not hurting. Please consider donating to help those who could never pay you back. Sure most of you I would guess already support your own church etc. But the Lord will bless you for offerings. It is a worthy cause. And please keep this whole thing in prayer as there are those who would flat not like to see us do this for the poor. But that is the way it always is. You know there are some on this list who could just write a check for the whole thing plus. I am not trying to offend anyone just want all of you to please take this to prayer and do as this man did, JUST  Do as God says for you to do, that is all I ask. I know by Faith he will provide just as I know that later he will pay off this building really very soon. In this neighborhood is a fight that the Lord has prepared us for. We are going to bring His light to this neighborhood! Satan does not wish to trun groud over to be Holy once it was his, remember thsi was a very rough club and abundent with sinners! Now this is declared Holy Ground!

By the way many homeless have offered free labor to do the work. they do not just wish a free ride! many people are watching what happens with this so please pray about and see if you are to help.
 The LORD  bless thee and keep thee;
The LORD make His face shine upon thee,
and be gracious unto thee;
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee,
and give thee shalom. (peace)

In Yeshua's Name,
Bro. Dan, Pastor of Messiah's Branch

1 Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Shalom In Yeshua our Messiah, Late again LOL, We have been richly blessed with sweets and bread to give the people. I pick up 2-9 racks of sweets every week and once in a while I get bread. For the past few weeks I have been able to give out 16-23 trays of sweets each day an 20-30 loafs of bread. ALL PRAISE goes to Yahweh without Him I can do nothing.

Last Friday Lynda aka "the egg lady" spoiled the people with 4dozen egg-n-lunchmeat and 40 grilled cheese. Between the two days I gave out 39 trays of sweets and about 50 loafs of bread. For Friday dinner I made chili served with crackers and Tuesday I made goulash, fried potatoes-n-onions,peaches and buttered rolls.

We need medical supplies we just can not get enough cold/flu meds to go around. Every day we go Dad goes to the dollar tree and buys 20-30 bucks worth then as soon as he walks in the door there gone. Most of them have bad colds some have the flu,Tuesday one of our regulars who had not been coming called the message left said " please come get me I haven't eaten in three day's." He arrived at the mission before we could return his call. When I told him I'd been worried about him he said I been on an IV in the hospital for twelve days. This man sleeps under a bridge because of all the disturbing conditions there are in what shelters that are available.

Most of the bills are in but the funding to pay is still yet to come. The newsletter will go to print and be mailed this Friday. We will get the keys to the new building on Feb 15, then we will need to get started repairing and getting ready for move in. We have the rent on Maple paid to April first so we need to be completely moved to 900 south Broadway by then.

The fence will have to come first and Dad got a quote Tuesday for all materials needed it was a little over 900. There are walls that need to be put up for an office, children's room, clothes closet and kitchen. There is a wash room there already and we would like to put in a shower. We will need to paint the entire building inside & out and replace all carpet with either a wood floor or tile we want no carpet because of cleanliness. Yahweh will supply everything needed and a lot of the guys are excited about being able to help do all the labor.

Please Pray about weather your suppose to help with these Mission works, there are so many needs. The last paid radio date is Feb 15, 2007 it cost 190.00 for four weeks,Dad received 120 of that today the rest is still needed. I go pick up five racks of sweets tomorrow then the food account will be close to broke. Continue to hold my mother up in prayer for her finances an keep us in prayer that everything will run smoothly in all the work ahead of us without any road blocks.

Thank you all for your love prayers and support we love you! Ask Yahweh if your to help and follow His instructions for your part.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on national television. "I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another, the Islamic law that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option", Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should
"clear off.
Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want to live
by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he said.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques Quote: "IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we
have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."
"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against
immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia "
"However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand." "This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we
have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle." "This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom"
"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to
become part of our society, Learn the language!"
"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on
Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another
part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture."
"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us." "If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like " A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others. "This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow
you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."
"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come
here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."
Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voting the same truths!! AMERICA, WHERE IS YOUR BACKBONE?

They Walk Among Us ....

Some guy bought a new fridge for his house.

To get rid of his old fridge, he put it in his front yard and hung a
sign on it saying: "Free to good home. You want it, you take it."

For three days the fridge sat there without even one person looking
twice at it. He eventually decided that people were too un-trusting of
this deal. It looked to good to be true, so he changed the sign to
read: "Fridge for sale $50." The next day someone stole it. Caution...

While looking at a house, my brother asked the real estate agent which
direction was north because, he explained, he didn't want the sun waking

When my brother explained that the sun rises in the east, and has for
sometime. She shook her head and said, "Oh, I don't keep up with that
stuff."

I used to work in technical support for a 24/7 call center. One day I
got a call from an individual who asked what hours the call center was
open. I told him, "The number you dialed is open 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week."
He responded, "Is that Eastern or Pacific Time?" Wanting to end the
call quickly, I said, "Uh, Pacific"

My colleague and I were eating our lunch in our cafeteria, when we

Gospel Matthew 5:17-32

Now when Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although it was nearer; for God said, "The people may have a change of heart when they see war, and return to Egypt." So God led the people roundabout, by way of the wilderness at the Sea of Reeds. Now the Israelites went up armed out of the land of Egypt. And Moses took with him the bones of Joseph, who had exacted an oath from the children of Israel, saying, "God will be sure to take notice of you: then you shall carry up my bones from here with you." They set out from Succoth, and encamped at Etham, at the edge of the wilderness. The Lord went before them in a pillar of cloud by day, to guide them along the way, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light, that they might travel day and night. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people. The Lord said to Moses: Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal-zephon; you shall encamp facing it, by the sea. Pharaoh will say of the Israelites, "They are astray in the land; the wilderness has closed in on them." Then I will stiffen Pharaoh's heart and he will pursue them, that I may gain glory through Pharaoh and all his host; and the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord. And they did so. When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his courtiers had a change of heart about the people and said, "What is this we have done, releasing Israel from our service?" He ordered his chariot and took his men with him; he took six hundred of his picked chariots, and the rest of the chariots of Egypt, with officers in all of them. The Lord stiffened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he gave chase to the Israelites. As the Israelites were departing defiantly, boldly...

The Egyptians gave chase to them, and all the chariot horses of Pharaoh, his horsemen, and his warriors overtook them encamped by the sea, near Pi-hahiroth, before Baal-zephon. As Pharaoh drew near, the Israelites caught sight of the Egyptians advancing upon them. Greatly frightened, the Israelites cried out to the Lord. And they said to Moses, "Was it for want of graves in Egypt that you brought us to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us, taking us out of Egypt? Is this not the very thing we told you in Egypt, saying, 'Let us be, and we will serve the Egyptians, for it is better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness'?" But Moses said to the people, "Have no fear! Stand by, and witness the deliverance which the Lord will work for you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you will never see again. The Lord will battle for you; you hold your peace!" Then the Lord said to Moses, "Why do you cry out to Me? Tell the Israelites to go forward. And you lift up your rod and hold out your arm over the sea and split it, so that the Israelites may march into the sea on dry ground. And I will stiffen the hearts of the Egyptians so that they go in after them; and I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his warriors, his chariots and his horsemen. Let the Egyptians know that I am Lord, when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen." The angel of God, who had been going ahead of the Israelite army, now moved and followed behind them; and the pillar of cloud shifted from in front of them and took up a place behind them, and it came between the army of the Egyptians and the army of Israel. Thus there was the cloud with the darkness, and it cast a spell upon the night, so that the one could not come near the other all through the night.
Then Moses held out his arm over the sea and the Lord drove back the sea with a strong east wind all that night, and turned the sea into dry ground. The waters were split, and the Israelites went into the sea on dry ground, the waters forming a wall for them on their right and on their left. The Egyptians came in pursuit after them into the sea, all of Pharaoh's horses, chariots, and horsemen. At the morning watch, the Lord looked down upon the Egyptian army from a pillar of fire and cloud, and threw the Egyptian army into panic. He locked the wheels of their chariots so that they moved forward with difficulty. And the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from the Israelites, for the Lord is fighting for them against Egypt."

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Hold out your arm over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians and upon their chariots and upon their horsemen." Moses held out his arm over the sea, and at daybreak the sea returned to its normal state, and the Egyptians fled at its approach. But the Lord hurled the Egyptians into the sea. The waters turned back and covered the chariots and the horsemen--Pharaoh's entire army that followed them into the sea; not one of them remained. But the Israelites had marched through the sea on dry ground, the waters forming a wall for them on their right and on their left. Thus the Lord delivered Israel that day from the Egyptians. Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the shore of the sea. And when Israel saw the wondrous power which the Lord had wielded against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord; they had faith in the Lord and His servant Moses. Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord. They said: I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; horse and driver He has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and might; He is become my deliverance. This is my God and I will enshrine Him; the God of my father, and I will exalt Him. The Lord, the Warrior--Lord is His name! Pharaoh's chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; and the pick of his officers are drowned in the Sea of Reeds. The deeps covered them; they went down into the depths like a stone. Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the foe! In Your great triumph You break Your opponents; you send forth Your fury, it consumes them like straw. At the blast of Your nostrils the waters piled up, the floods stood straight like a wall; the deeps froze in the heart of the sea. The foe said, "I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire shall have its fill of them. I will bare my sword--my hand shall subdue them." You made Your wind blow, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the majestic waters. Who is like You, O Lord, among the celestials; who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendor, working wonders! You put out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them. In Your love You lead the people You redeemed; in Your strength You guide them to Your holy abode. The peoples hear, they tremble; agony grips the dwellers in Philistia.

Now are the clans of Edom dismayed; the tribes of Moab--trembling grips them; all the dwellers in Canaan are aghast. Terror and dread descend upon them; through the might of Your arm they are still as stone--till Your people cross over, O Lord, till Your people cross whom You have ransomed. You will bring them and plant them in Your own mountain, the place You made to dwell in, O Lord, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands established. The Lord will reign for ever and ever For the horses of Pharaoh, with his chariots and horsemen, went into the sea; and the Lord turned back on them the waters of the sea; but the Israelites marched on dry ground in the midst of the sea. Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her in dance with timbrels. And Miriam chanted for them: Sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; horse and driver He has hurled into the sea. Then Moses caused Israel to set out from the Sea of Reeds. They went on into the wilderness of Shur; they traveled three days in the wilderness and found no water. They came to Marah, but they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; that is why it was named Marah. And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?" So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood; he threw it into the water and the water became sweet. There He made for them a fixed rule, and there He put them to the test. He said, "If you will heed the Lord your God diligently, doing what is upright in His sight, giving ear to His commandments and keeping all His laws, then I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I the Lord am your healer.

And they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there beside the water. Setting out from Elim, the whole Israelite community came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt. In the wilderness, the whole Israelite community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The Israelites said to them, "If only we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots, when we ate our fill of bread! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to starve this whole congregation to death." And the Lord said to Moses, "I will rain down bread for you from the sky, and the people shall go out and gather each day that day's portion--that I may thus test them, to see whether they will follow My instructions or not. But on the sixth day, when they apportion what they have brought in, it shall prove to be double the amount they gather each day." So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, "By evening you shall know it was the Lord who brought you out from the land of Egypt; and in the morning you shall behold the Presence of the Lord, because He has heard your grumblings against the Lord. For who are we that you should grumble against us? Since it is the Lord," Moses continued, "who will give you flesh to eat in the evening and bread in the morning to the full, because the Lord has heard the grumblings you utter against Him, what is our part? Your grumbling is not against us, but against the Lord!" Then Moses said to Aaron, "Say to the whole Israelite community: Advance toward the Lord, for He has heard your grumbling." And as Aaron spoke to the whole Israelite community, they turned toward the wilderness, and there, in a cloud, appeared the Presence of the Lord.

The Lord spoke to Moses: "I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Speak to them and say: By evening you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall have your fill of bread; and you shall know that I the Lord am your God." In the evening quail appeared and covered the camp; in the morning there was a fall of dew about the camp. When the fall of dew lifted, there, over the surface of the wilderness, lay a fine and flaky substance, as fine as frost on the ground. When the Israelites saw it, they said to one another, "What is it?"--for they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, "That is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat. This is what the Lord has commanded: Gather as much of it as each of you requires to eat, an omer to a person for as many of you as there are; each of you shall fetch for those in his tent." The Israelites did so, some gathering much, some little. But when they measured it by the omer, he who had gathered much had no excess, and he who had gathered little had no deficiency: they had gathered as much as they needed to eat. And Moses said to them, "Let no one leave any of it over until morning." But they paid no attention to Moses; some of them left of it until morning, and it became infested with maggots and stank. And Moses was angry with them. So they gathered it every morning, each as much as he needed to eat; for when the sun grew hot, it would melt. On the sixth day they gathered double the amount of food, two omers for each; and when all the chieftains of the community came and told Moses, he said to them, "This is what the Lord meant: Tomorrow is a day of rest, a holy sabbath of the Lord. Bake what you would bake and boil what you would boil; and all that is left put aside to be kept until morning." So they put it aside until morning, as Moses had ordered; and it did not turn foul, and there were no maggots in it. Then Moses said, "Eat it today, for today is a sabbath of the Lord; you will not find it today on the plain. Six days you shall gather it; on the seventh day, the sabbath, there will be none."

Yet some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found nothing. And the Lord said to Moses, "How long will you men refuse to obey My commandments and My teachings? Mark that the Lord has given you the sabbath; therefore He gives you two days' food on the sixth day. Let everyone remain where he is: let no one leave his place on the seventh day." So the people remained inactive on the seventh day. The house of Israel named it manna; it was like coriander seed, white, and it tasted like wafers in honey. Moses said, "This is what the Lord has commanded: Let one omer of it be kept throughout the ages, in order that they may see the bread that I fed you in the wilderness when I brought you out from the land of Egypt." And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a jar, put one omer of manna in it, and place it before the Lord, to be kept throughout the ages." As the Lord had commanded Moses, Aaron placed it before the Pact, to be kept. And the Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a settled land; they ate the manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan. The omer is a tenth of an ephah.

From the wilderness of Sin the whole Israelite community continued by stages as the Lord would command. They encamped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink. The people quarreled with Moses. "Give us water to drink," they said; and Moses replied to them, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you try the Lord?" But the people thirsted there for water; and the people grumbled against Moses and said, "Why did you bring us up from Egypt, to kill us and our children and livestock with thirst?" Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, "What shall I do with this people? Before long they will be stoning me!" Then the Lord said to Moses, "Pass before the people; take with you some of the elders of Israel, and take along the rod with which you struck the Nile, and set out. I will be standing there before you on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock and water will issue from it, and the people will drink." And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. The place was named Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites quarreled and because they tried the Lord, saying, "Is the Lord present among us or not?" Amalek came and fought with Israel at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua, "Pick some men for us, and go out and do battle with Amalek. Tomorrow I will station myself on the top of the hill, with the rod of God in my hand." Joshua did as Moses told him and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. Then, whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; but whenever he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands grew heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur, one on each side, supported his hands; thus his hands remained steady until the sun set. And Joshua overwhelmed the people of Amalek with the sword. Then the Lord said to Moses, "Inscribe this in a document as a reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven!" And Moses built an altar and named it Adonai-nissi. He said, "It means, 'Hand upon the throne of the Lord!' The Lord will be at war with Amalek throughout the ages."

Mission Update: Greetings Saints in His Perfect Peace, Today it snowed here and of course in Wichita, Kansas where we go to minister and care for and to the homeless and poor. We were supposed to go over and get a better look inside today so we could start planning and seeing what the actual costs will be or rather close to it. But we did not know how bad the storm would be so we decided to wait. Mon talked with the mediator to cancel, in that conversation he said he would go over and draw us a floor plan to scale. That will help greatly.

The $1000 down basically bought us the right to buy this place within 5 years. $100 a month comes off the$500 toward purchase. We agreed that we would pay an additional $500 April 1st You see while the neighborhood is a problem right now currant city renovations will reach this area more than likely in 5 years, more or less. Right now the area just 7 blocks away is being renovated and arena is being placed in what is called the old town area. The Library is also just 7 blocks away which is where many of the homeless go and I pick some of them up there. But the area I am in has many places that the homeless are in. So it really was a miracle to get this place as we did. The owner knows it as he was just given over a $1, 000,000 for other properties in the way of the arena. We are needed in this area without any doubt. I have received word from two people that are both waiting once certain funds that they feel they should help. This was confirmation to me. I was not %100 sure we would get this place as I was still in wonderment that the other place did not go though. Looking at it this is a much better place not as large but has a yard where the other place had really none. I had asked the Lord to stop me from getting it if it was wrong and he did. I was just a little surprised because the money we prayed for to have before that Friday came for that use. So at that point I thought we were going to get it. But the money was saved and went as down payment yesterday, with some money left over to get started.

Now my wife, my other half, was confirmed when we pulled up to this new place, %100. She even prayer walked the building 7 times claiming it out of Faith for the Lord. Those are the pictures I have sent with her in front of and behind the building.

Today I had a $50 and $18 donation come in towards the building. By faith I know we will have all that is needed. We can start work on our part on Feb. 15. So that is my target date for having money to buy the materials needed, like paint, sheetrock, etc. I have walls to put up for the Kitchen, office and childrens room. The carpet on the floor is terrible and needs replaced. Some floors are tile while the bathrooms I think are cement. It was hard to really get a great feel of much of it when we looked in the dark with hand held lights. They are going to have the city come out and check and make sure all plumbing, electric, etc is up to code before I ever take possession on Feb 15th so we will not be hindered by the city so to speak.

I took my 12 year old over last night before coming home to show him the building and to step off how much fence I would need. When I was there, a car pulled up next door. I introduced myself to the driver, which was a grandma, widower, I told her to get used to my van being there and explained what I was doing. She said she new in her spirit already that I was a pastor and was so glad a church was moving in next to her. She told me some things about the neighborhood that was just a confirmation on what I already knew. Some good, people, some drug dealers, some prostitutes, etc. But the hood is not yet completely bad nor good. So saints we really need your help now as you can see. Also pray for those waiting on money to help, they both are very worthy of your prayers even without offers of help! The LORD bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee shalom. (peace)
Bemidbar (Numbers) 6:24-26 In Yeshua's Name, Bro. Dan, Pastor of Messiah's Branch

Matthew 21:21 - Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. Mark 11:22 - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 1 Timothy 1:12 - And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

Shalom in Yeshua our Messiah,

Well here I am Late again but as they say "better late than never" lol. Friday we were packed we had 55 people @ 3 pm and we only have 40 chairs so you can imagine the room we had. Lynda made seven dozen egg lunchmeat and cheese sandwiches as I set out thirty six trays of sweets. For dinner I made spaghetti and garlic toast, chocolate milk shakes an chocolate cup cakes in honor of Elijah aka "Mannie" our youngest's sixth birthday. After we fed and set up for service the real estate broker stopped by to talk about our new building and details for a letter of intent. I knew from our first phone conversation that this was going to be the new home of Messiah's Branch outreach to the poor an homeless of Wichita.

A couple days earlier before we were able to see the inside I laid claim to the property by claiming Yahweh's promise John 15:7 - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. I did this in prayer while walking the property seven times around the building claiming His promise by faith it was a done deal. When we were able to see inside it was very dark and we seen by flashlight. I could tell right away this was everything we had been asking for and more and that this would better the conditions for our work with the homeless and poor.

Tuesday Lynda made nine dozen egg and lunchmeat sandwiches, she also made grilled cheese but I am unsure of the count I just know it was 2 1/2 pounds of single sliced cheese. I set out 38 trays of sweets and gave away loafs of bread and cheese crackers. We were blessed by a donation of bowls, plates, go plates, plastic forks & spoons, four big cans of coffee, two big containers of hot chocolate, two containers of instant tea, a few # 10 cans of fruit, and about twenty blankets an two bags of nice warm socks.

I paid all of January's bills and a few of February's, there are still around eight more that need to be paid by the 14th. The newsletter should go out Tuesday and the funds for postage to mail it are still needed. We now have a 1987 chevy 4 cylinder 4 door that runs good and has descent tires so the transportation problem is fixed. The food account is very low and after tomorrow when I go pick up sweets it will be nearly broke. We ask you all to pray about supporting this ministry Yahweh will provide the every need and never fail His people however He needs them as vessels to do it, you just may be a vessel He waiting to hear from.

We are excited about the new building an home for Messiah's Branch, there will be so much more room for everyone and every need. The plus is we will not have to move again it will belong to Messiah's Branch. If you would like to help with the cost of the repairs to get this place ready for move in please contact us or mail your gift to Messiah's Branch 230 w 4th Florence Ks, 66851. If you are already a supporter please do not take away from what you are already doing those needs are still there.

We will begin the repairs when we are able to pick up the keys and that is February 15, 2007. Please Keep us in Prayer & Thank you all for your love, prayers and support they are so much appreciated. I will close for now we love you all and pray you are healthy an safe Shalom sisterlinda/family & Messiah's Branch

Mark 9:23,10:27

" THE Truth will set you FREE"

A bit of humor for today... An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a
male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter, "Want coffee." The waiter says, "Sure, Chief, coming right up." He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the coffee, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere, then just walks out. The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand pulling another male buffalo with the other. He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter, "Want coffee." The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday What was all that about, anyway?" The Indian smiles and proudly says, "Training for position in United States Congress: Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day."

This is really good!
A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was leaving the room after paying a visit, and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side." Very quietly the doctor said, "I don't know." "You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?" The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness. Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He didn't know what was on the other side of the door. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened he entered without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing: I know my Master is there, and that is enough. And when the door opens, I shall pass through with no fear, but with gladness."

"I strongly suspect that if we saw all the difference even the tiniest of our prayers make, and all the people those little prayers were destined to affect, and all the consequences of those prayers down through the centures, we
would be so paralyzed with awe at the power of prayer that we would be unable to get up off our knees for the rest of our lives." - Peter Kreeft, author and professor of philosophy, Boston College

"IT'S JEWISH"

Though at the first the Lord had blessed, and sanctified His day of rest, The same belief is still expressed, 'It's Jewish.' Though with the world this rest began, and thence through all the Scriptures ran, And Jesus said 'twas made for man - 'It's Jewish.' Though not with Jewish rites, which passed But with the moral law, 'twas classed,
Which must exist while time shall last, 'It's Jewish.' Though the disciples, Luke and Paul, continue still this rest to call, 'The Sabbath day,' this answers all, 'It's Jewish.' This Evangel teacher's plain expression, that "Sin is of the law transgression," Seems not to make the least impression - 'It's Jewish.' They love the rest of man's invention, But if of Jehovah's day we mention, This puts an end to all contention, 'It's Jewish.' O you who thus God's day abuse, simply because 'twas kept by Jews, The Saviour, too, you must refuse. He's Jewish. The Scriptures, then, we may expect, for the same reason you'll reject; For if you will but recollect, They're Jewish. Thus the apostles, too, must fall; for Andrew, Peter, James and Paul,Thomas, Matthew, John and all - Were Jewish. So to your helpless state resign, yourself in wretchedness to pine; Salvation, surely you'll decline -
It's Jewish.
